There's a Man With a Gun Over There...

...and the LASD apparently needs to make sure he doesn't presume himself to be an equal of the "Only Ones"...[More]

  1. One more good reason to stay out of California.

Carrying an unloaded gun? Nuts... Being stopped, especially repeatedly, so cops can "inspect" your gun? Insanity.

  2. I'll keep mine in Nevada - along with myself!

I miss California at times. I miss the beaches, the taste of salt water, the nice climate - San Diego is NICE. Too bad I'm not willing to give up my rights. I'd rather be alive in 120 degree heat in the summer and snowed on in the winter with my 9mm at hand and a chance against a threat.

  3. It will be of little avail to the people that the laws are made by men of their own choice if the laws be so voluminous that they cannot be read, or so incoherent that they cannot be understood. —JAMES MADISON

It amazes me that the BATF, etc, and cops in general for whom it is their BUSINESS to know are so clueless about a right so clear that a 3rd grader could understand and yet whine that 'we can't know everything' and expect normal people just going about their daily business would know all of the nuances that the black robed oligarchs have inscribed.

  4. I cannot understand why the LASD won't advise their deputies that if a "person", as opposed to a suspect, is doing something perfectly legal and is harming no one, he should be LEFT ALONE!

What a concept! I bet it won't occur to anyone in LASD employ.

  5. "Just as the right to free speech does not include the right to shout "fire" in a crowded theater..."

J-F-C, this a meme that just won't die. It's becoming so irritating that I'm going to start researching when it started, and who is responsible.
