Oklahoma's gun laws are among the weakest in the nation, risking the lives of children and fueling the illegal gun market, according to a national survey released Wednesday. [More]The Bradys said it. I believe it. That settles it.
Just kidding. They're a bunch of damned liars. I'm sure I could deconstruct this the same way I just did for what they said about Vermont.
That no "Authorized Journalists" call them on their BS just shows what a bunch of subversives and incompetents most of our "government watchdogs" are, too.
Which is one of the reasons I always get on the case of WoG regulars to spread the word on the Gun Rights Examiner columns.

I though Obama was doing that going into a school with his folks packing heat, the kind of heat that "belongs on battlefields, not America's streets"
ReplyDeleteRight, Master Holbytla. Guns just "go off," sometimes, they tell us. The SS wouldn't be exempt.
ReplyDeleteSports writers don't have to know the rules of football or NASCAR to cover them. Oops, yes they do. Business reporters don't have to know what a margin call is or the difference between COO and CEO. Oops, yes they do. So how come people who write about police and crime for a living don't need to know the difference between full-, semi-auto and revolver, and what laws exist before they call for more? I guess even learning about guns is somehow dangerous.
Dangerous to PREJUDICES. Funny how the media go on and on about diversity, tolerance and letting go of prejudice, which is a preconceived notion not based on fact.
Saw a bumper sticker: "The "liberal" media are only as liberal as the CONSERVATIVE men who own them."
Money transcends politics. If the business is profitable, the head guy doesn't really care. In media, if it sells ads and gets ratings bringing more advertising, it can be not only total crap but disease-spreading crap.
I'm willing to tolerate that for ENTERTAINMENT. The NEWS should be above that.
They're not watchdogs, but government lap dogs.
I WAS impressed that CBS took the time to talk about the whistleblower who told the Securities and Exchange Commission over and over about the Madoff investment fraud. The SEC DIScourages its agents from investigating individuals. Well-connected individuals.
Now that the Madoff thing is over, of course. Like Obama limiting the salaries of executives whose companies are bailed out with OUR money. It only applies to those in the future, not the ones that have gutted our economy. Certainly, laws should not be retroactive. That's unconstitutional. But screwing people out of their life's savings and pensions should have consequences.
When the wind is right, you can smell the corruption hundreds of miles away.
There is something to wonder or maybe even worry about on this matter. First off is these people are bold faced liars. None of this is even close to the truth. Which begs the question: Why?
ReplyDeleteA government that will disarm you will enslave you or even kill you.
Considering their condition, I prefer "delusional" over "liar". It's much nicer that way.
