  1. Funny you should post this today David, as I was just banned from AR15 for something similar in the opposite direction.

  2. I've told three deputies that I would try to kill them if they came to take away my guns, take me to a to a camp, forcibly inject me, etc. All three said they wouldn't comply with such an order.

  3. It won't end until they fear us more than they love abusing the helpless.

It is time to induce fear of us. Not the cop shop admin, not the courts, they support this shit. It is time for them to fear their traditional victims.

  5. Sigh. Add the latest example to the list; anyone paying attention stopped being surprised by it long ago.

What saddens me most is that I can remember a time not so very long ago when I regularly heard from voices "behind the blue line" that publicly decried and disavowed this sentiment, often with incredulity being the dominant theme.

Then, came a time in which what I mostly heard were stories featuring the theme, "I used to work for [X agency] when the people there really did just want to keep the peace, but I had to get out." Apparently, this was a transition period.

Now, I don't even hear that anymore. It seems that the only voices out there now, are either hardcore "Only Ones", or a few half-assed apologists who hide behind vacant platitudes like "a few bad apples".

It's depressing. Even the gun rags feature articles that are clearly by and for Only Ones. I am absolutely sick of the trendy term "operator", for example. What in the flying f#!k is that supposed to refer to? Its effect is certainly clear--the word completely dehumanizes the concept it connotes, which is that of a hired party who "operates" weapons and procedures. Such a party needs not even be human to do that--is that the point? The term is the semantic equivalent to face masks and black helicopters; just when you thought you couldn't get any more insulted or threatened by the transition from "peace officer" to "law enforcement officer", now here come the "operators". Human judgment no longer need apply.

But that's a topic for another time.

It appears that the principled have been effectively bred out of a profession that we should probably do away with altogether, on principle (it's the only possible silver lining this militarization has--that it might finally illustrate that the very concept of law enforcement creates more trouble than it's worth).

Some insist otherwise, but I cannot hear them over the din of the thugs and their apologists. The "bad apples" platitude will continue to ring hollow until we start to see an unprecedented Internal Affairs purge, that visibly sends the "operators" scrambling for legitimate work. A really public one, with teeth.

If there is honor left in the profession, it needs to speak--NOW--and speak loudly enough to be heard. 'Cause right now, there's little proof of it.

  6. If your corporation ever gets invited to play basball with the cops' team, don't. Tossing something to them underhand us "assault." I saw the video.
When I think of assault with a shoe, I think of a stiletto heel to the temple (where the skull is very thin) like a hammer, not a pump tossed in the general direction. Something to remember, ladies, if you're ever in an extreme situation.
I smile at police cars as they pass. It is the smile of the lion watching passing antelope.

  7. By the way, EXCELLENT observations, Mr. Wilmeth. With people like you and Mr. Codrea on our side, I have no doubt that we still may prevent the big game, or at least be around to talk about it afterward.

  8. I'm sure that this upstanding "peace officer" will volunteer to be the first one through the door, day after day, as the "only ones" go door to door disarming the public.

But since he views a teenage girl flipping a sneaker as an "assault", just think how flummoxed he will be when the numbers of his fellow "operators" shrink relative to every door they kick in.

His comments and others like them by other "only ones only serve to perform a real service. Now even fence sitters can begin to understand what he really wants, and what he thinks of the people he "serves and protects."

  9. For over a decade we volunteered in county emergency services, seeing the change already spoken of, seeing it deepen, and knowing that, without a doubt, much of what had been a county of predominately sterling folks is past (LEO's, EMS). After the Platte Canyon High School incident, all bets were off in less than a year. Now there is less and less effort in even trying to present an amicable and community-oriented face.

All I am reminded of, is the mindset (in the body language, particularly) of folks getting comfortable with "Only One's" authority to issue orders to be instantly obeyed. Especially with the new deputies, from what I've seen - a page has been turned, an open door shut.

We work on today, and plan and prep to make tomorrow better, best as we can.

  10. I don't dispute that "Justice23" is a pig, but "cooperator" might also be an appropriate designation.

  14. Also to add another thing, my Wushu instructor once told me to pretend to be a JBT and try to forcibly restrain him. He was a very elderly man, over 80 yrs old, so I sort of hesitated. But then he commanded that I do it and that he wanted to show me something.

I went ahead and was going to do a similar move like a prison yard style takedown, and all he did was suddenly reach around me and take hold of my wrist. Then he pressed deep into my wrist and placed his other hand between my shoulders at the same time. I suddenly went into a seizure. I couldn't even talk, felt like I was being suffocated, and having violent tremors all over me. Then he let go and asked me if I was okay. After I caught my breath again, he told me "If I hadn't let you go and went on for another 10 seconds, you would have went into cardiac and respiratory arrest, and you would have been dead in that time. If you were actually a JBT, you would have been dead as General Sedgwick". We both found that really funny.

After that, I really became interested in pressure points, and I received several courses of knowledge of them, both from my Wushu teacher and an Oriental medicine expert. They are wonderful things to know in the field of unarmed defense. What are your options if some totalitarian piece of shit suddenly decides that you are a political threat.

  15. Qi Ji Guang: that sounds an awful lot like a ticket up an "attempted murder" charge and perhaps even charges of "aflicting with witchcraft" or even "for making an unlawful covenant with the Devil"

Hey, its not like it couldnt happen here.
