A Coordinated Effort to Abuse

Hands Of [sic] My Guns! Gun Supporters Abuse Black Star News Editorial...

Now we are convinced these postings are being coordinated.
By the NRA?

No...

By GOA?

No...

Then by who?

Ohhh...the article he didn't link to featuring the comment he didn't post...

And funny--that doesn't even ask anybody to do anything.

Wrong again, Milton, which is hardly surprising. Maybe, just maybe a few of us are on guard and quite capable of acting independently to protect our rights.

Y'know, that's something to keep in mind.

And I'm not through with these guys. I was going to do another GRE piece today but felt the Hampton U shootings required a timely analysis.

Depending on what's happening in the world, I hope to "coordinate" some more "abuse" tomorrow.

That's how the folks who claim they're "speaking truth to empower" look on speaking truth to empower.

  1. "Coordinated"
It's the result of the power of "grass roots" efforts.

    "Abuse"
I haven't seen any abuse yet. If they call that "abuse" then they have thin skin. I have seen the editor of the Black Star News reply to the facts with insults which, sadly, reflects very poorly on his/her true support of free discourse on the topic.

  2. "Research shows that state with tighter gun control laws suffer from higher rates of violent crime." What research?"that right there sums up their entire position.

  3. "So one thing is abundantly clear. Those who support the proliferation of guns are well organized and well coordinated."and they've done so in the free market. no government necessary to form and perpetuate the NRA or the GOA, which consist, simply, of millions of americans.

"Not a single posting came from people who support gun control."i guess you'd call that... evidence?

"For a long time, Americans will continue to carry the day in this country."fixed.

  4. Stop by and "leave a scream" here:

I wonder if they will post them.
    David, thanks for "coordinating".
HA! Coordination of gun owners is like herding cats. Gun owners are as diverse as our population (people of all colors, all levels of education and income, different genders and sexual orientation, different religious orientation, etc)

It must seem that we are so coordinated because someone (you) pointed out this article (thanks) and we are all interested enough in protecting our rights to let our interests be known.

    Thanks again.

  5. "Not a single posting came from people who support gun control."
err, it's your site doofus. Last I knew that meant you control what gets on it. If there were no comments supporting your position, well you may just want to rethink that position.
I strongly suspect that the most telling comments were the ones that politely pointed out that the push for strong gun controls originated in the racist effort to keep blacks unarmed and defenseless. I guess the truth hurts, huh?

  6. the title alone...

I wonder what definition of "abuse" he might be using because none of them can even remotely apply to his silly piece of horse shit masquerading as an editorial.

  7. OK, so he wants to play. Fine:

You know, it was bad enough that you edited my comment without asking, although I do take a small amount of pride in the fact that the only thing you could do is delete several paragraphs, add a gratuitous exclamation point and add something to the title.

Now we come to you, Milton, or should I say Tom? Spouting the white man's disarmament line must make your masters happy. What did you get in return? The old, chipped dinner dishes that are no longer suitable for Massah's table?

How do I know this? If you were truly an Equal, you never would have written that drivel that caught my attention yesterday. A truly brave and Equal man would have taken the young men who use guns to task. You would have pointed out that people who prey on their neighbors are low-lifes and would not be tolerated. Instead you parrotted Bloomberg. And Daley. And the whole panoply of so-called leaders who strive to control you.

I remeber the Freedom Marchers from my childhood, and I know they would wonder why they put their lives on the line for an Uncle Tom like you.

"Not a single posting came from people who support gun control." Yeah, how 'bout that, Milton? I'll let you in on another thing: more than a few of those letters were written by White folks. Sorry to burst your little meme of 'whitey's always trying to keep a Brother down', but there it is. If some of us aren't free, then none of us are. And you are trying to keep folks under the thumb of the power structure. You ought to be ashamed of yourself.

Seeing how he likes to edit comments I think I'll put on record my entire comment:

Simply put you are wrong. The people you have been hearing from are people who have studied the history of disarmament of civilian populations and the ensuing slavery, abuses and even genocides enabled by such monstrously immoral policies.

It is obvious you have not studied any of the history of disarmament of civilians, nor even the history or your own people here in America.

If we all had addressed an assumption that the earth waa the center of the universe by saying and proving that it wasn't, that would not have shown coordination of effort. It would have shown that the positer of such a thought was ignorant, and he of course, would most probably accuse the informed of mounting a coordinated attack against him.

You say there are too many guns in the hands of inner city youth now. I can't disagree with that, but guess what youth are not legally allowed to carry guns. So who is left at the mercy of criminals? All those who obeyed the law and don't have a gun with which to discourage the criminals. Nothing discourages a criminal faster than his realization that he could be hurt or killed. So, your hypothesis that there are too many guns in the inner city fails because criminals have them and are not going to give them up. Therefore there are too few guns in the inner city. Or just entirely too many black people.

Think about that for a minute. Do some research on crime statistics, then remove all the black on black crimes from the results and see how much less crime there really is. Perhaps there are just too many black people. Well, all I can say is your advocated policy will correct that. Just keep the good folks helpless while you are unable to do anything about the criminal and there will be fewer and fewer black people, at least in the inner city.

Unlike you, I actually trust good people to do the right thing. And I prefer they have the tools to defend themselves and their loved ones. I don't care about their color, good people are good people. The other kind should not enjoy a tactical advantage over them. The real racist here would appear to be you. How does a man view his own race as so inferior that even the good law-abiding in it are not to be trusted with the tools of free men?
