Certainly, with the ammunition shortage and increased prices IF you can find it, reloading makes sense again. Plus the ability to custom-tune a load for each gun for maximum accuracy. No wonder they're bent out of shape. Good thing any treaty contrary to the Constitution is null and void. Shooting USED TO BE my hobby, Ms. Peters. Now it's my Zen martial art, my sacred obligation, because of people like you. Edged weapons, too. I'm a pretty quiet guy. III
This is in a way good news. Good because jerks like dumbo and the likes of him and his hunter buddies will be effected by this and in a big way. I've been wondering when the government was going to do something stupid and drag the clueless hunters into our arms. Well now that this is out in the open lets make a bunch of noise with it to get the folks in the background thinking. While we are at it we may as well let them know they hunt with "sniper rifles" and soon those will be on the list as well. Maybe just maybe we will for once stand united. That is going to be a real pain in the butt for the NRA, LOL!
"Intermediate sniper rifle" get used to that term, you're going to be hearing it a lot in the future. AvgJoe makes a good point, when common hunting rounds level off at $3 a round, the FUDS will at least be curious why, and may just swerve into the truth.
The hunters and fudd types will dance to whatever tune the govt. pipes. They'll have articles in Field and Stream on how to best comply with the new order. Don't expect people who have spent their lives salivating every time the masters ring the dinner bell to do anything else. Most, but not ALL, are heavy, dumbed down by govt. schools, hypnotoaded by TV, politically undeveloped. And they can't help being who they are because they are a product of deliberate ignorance, created by the US govt. Don't worry, they'll quit reloading, or pony up for the license, till they find out how ornerous and expensive it is. About the only help they will be to liberty is that the govt.MAY be pre-occupied with supervising them, so that they may temporarily neglect us.
Bad news Defender. Treaty law is the equeal to Consttutional Law. No Joke, read Boston T. Party's Hologram of Liberty. http://tinyurl.com/dsed4 Even whe we had decent Federal Courts that struck down unconstutional laws, they would sign a treaty and BINGO the law of the land.
I have a better reference than BTP. The Constitution, Article VI:
"...This Constitution, and the Laws of the United States which shall be made in Pursuance thereof; and all Treaties made, or which shall be made, under the Authority of the United States, shall be the supreme Law of the Land..."
