Nashville police say a 21-year-old home invasion robbery suspect was fatally wounded by 1 of his victims. [More]I guess some consider them to fall under the "kids" category up to age 24.
You know, the same people who would prefer the home invasion victims had been disarmed...

Someone who can enlist in the military, legally buy alcohol and tobacco, a home and a car, is NOT a "child."
ReplyDeleteMy wife had a nightmare about an intruder in our house. Two days later, she's still trying to get over it. If it really happened ... the sense of violation and helplessness...
Except I'm not helpless. I pray for the people who are, by law or by erroneous choice. Someone in your house while you're home has no qualms about harming you. That may even be their favorite part. I will do what I have to, no matter their age. They made the choice.
I'm not sure I understand why you titled this "Another Child Gun Death". I don't see anything in the actual article saying that a "child" died, though the accomplice is legally a child.
ReplyDeleteMove to Florida.
ReplyDeleteIf the crime is serious enough, people as young as twelve years old have been tried and convicted as adults in Florida.
Y'all's comments remind me of an instance when a mayor told me he had received a complaint from a woman who said I had been "picking on her child".
ReplyDeleteOnce I explained that the woman's "child" was a 41 year old man, the mayor backed off.
