A Bad Time

Despite a Democratic Congress and President, it's been a bad time for common sense measures to curb gun violence. [More]
To paraphrase something I once heard Jim Houck say, go visit Dachau and then come back and tell us about "common sense" gun control.

Yeah, hold a house party to ban my semi-autos. I'll be complying with that real quick.

Stupid leftist cud-chewing dilettante has no clue what "a bad time" really looks like.

On a positive note, quite a few commentators appear not to be falling for it, and the ones who are are all ineffectual losers.

  1. The Democrats in Congress, their Republican enablers and Obama could take a summer vacation and tyranny would keep right on marching. Customs and Border Enforcement is changing the regs concerning the definition of a "switchblade" knife to include any knife that can be opened with one hand. Speculation is, not only will they be banned for impport, but thanks to the Big Brother Interstate Commerce Clause, carrying one across a state line wil be a federal felony.
Voters don't get a say and won't. There's a "comment period," of course, but these bureaucrap-heads can't be voted out.
Knife control. Until recently, a joke about Britain.
My tactical folder goes where i go, as does my wicked Spyderco serrated curved blade backup. My Boy Scout knife with the fingernail grooves and non-locking blades just won't .. cut it.
Talk about the opposite of ratcheting DOWN the tension...

  2. I went to Dachau in 1986 when I was stationed in Germany. Walked into the building where the ovens are housed and you could still smell death. 40 years later and it still smells of death. Will never forget it.

  3. I smelled that smell too, but I was driving by Waffle House........ Women like this one, if they ever had a rational thought, their heads would split.
