They say the officer who taserer [sic] her and took her to be booked for resisting arrest was completely justified. However, Winkfein says that’s a lie, and the video appears to back her up. [More]
I don't suppose ratcheting tensions down a notch is ever an option when it's a question of instant obedience to "Only One" commands?
I'm sure there will be some who will say she's lucky he didn't just shoot her.

It has long been said that in this country there are two sets of justice. One for the rich who can afford good lawyers and have contacts and one for the poor whom seemingly get the blunt end of justice.
ReplyDeleteThe above statement does not apply to cops like this piece of cowardly shit in this story. There will not be any justice in this case because this matter will never be viewed in any light to make sure there is justice for the victim of this violent crime.
One extra point here: If someone took a taser and shot this cop with it. That person would be charged with assault with a deadly weapon. So the bottom line is this monster attacked a 72 year old woman with a deadly weapon because he's a hard core criminal. Back to the fact his conduct will never come under any overview which means justice will never be part of the equation.
Being said, the underscore of the matter is government is out of control and honest and lawful citizens are become victims of violent crimes committed against them by armed criminals within the government. Its only going to get much worse because its most always allowed to go unpunished.
Do you suppose these criminal "only ones" would try that game so much if the old ladies were armed? [grin]
ReplyDeleteFor some strange reason, most of the cops in Wyoming are VERY polite.
Imagine that.
"KSL editorial director's son dies after being tased by police
ReplyDeleteJune 9th, 2009 @ 11:00pm
WASHINGTON COUNTY -- A Utah man returning to Arizona to continue work on a PhD died after being tased by police outside Hurricane Tuesday afternoon. It's a story that hits at KSL because 32-year-old Brian Cardall is the son of longtime reporter and now editorial director Duane Cardall."
He ran after being pulled over. I can certainly understand why anyone would.
It was in Utah that a man was tasered for, like Grandma, refusing to sign a bogus ticket (The trooper had pulled IN FRONT OF a temporary speed limit sign, blocking it from drivers' view).
It's how they do business now. The PEOPLE'S business.
You are quite correct. If he had shot her the police would have said it is completely justified, and that the officer acted within department policy
ReplyDeleteI made this comment on another site earlier today:
ReplyDeleteWell, ya know, here a while back, since we became so fed up the the gestapo abusing citizens, the Memsahib and I have decided, if we are so fortunate enough to be in the vicinity of any, badge toting, steroid inflated, jack booted, low I.Qed, troglodyte, tazering, beating or any other wise abusing a fellow citizen, we can and will intervene, and if necessary, with extreme prejudice.
I would encourage everyone to get off of their dead asses and do the same.
This crap must stop, NOW. The only way that it will stop is if we ALL become "pro-active".
