  3. Great! It's now easier to obtain an unenforceable piece of paper with which to protect one's self.

    Using a really thick notebook is probably better for self-defense.

  5. Here's an interesting exercise. Suggest to an Illinois cop that they change the rules and ban police from being armed while off duty. Watch them throw a hissy fit over THEIR rights to the means of self defense.
    Oh, and you did know that all elected Illinois officials are automatically granted the right to carry concealed didn't you? Unlike the common citizens who must make do with the helpful suggestions from our not so successful protectors.
