We're the Only Ones Mildly Responded To Enough

Yet despite one officer's own admission of the fraud as well as payroll sheets outlining the officers' misdeeds, no charges were brought against them. [More]

  1. New Orleans, where theft, murder, and rape are an art form..........as practiced by the cops. Their motto: Don't do like we do, do as we say.

  2. We've seen similar instances in Houston. Too few give a damn. The 'poor, underpaid' only ones are mostly given a free pass. Few years ago we had a knucklehead cop run head on into a car full of teens as he made reckless pass on a curving two lane. He lied to his supervisor about the circumstances, was caught in the lie, fired, then got his job back after arbitration. The teens he injured will never be the same; our boy in blue just rolled on.

It helps them when they know where their supervisors buried all their bodies. Nothing is as friendly to a criminal cop as a criminal police department.

  4. "This whole thing is a mystery," said Capt. Michael Glasser, PANO president. "As an employee advocate, I'm usually looking to protect the officers from undeserved penalties. But at the same time, we can all agree that certain offenses are not acceptable."

However, some offenses are acceptable. Please check with your union steward for the list.
