III Patch Update

WRSA fills us in on the latest "III patch" news. [More]

You got yours, right? We're dependin' on you, son.

I'm getting the germ of an idea--send in your photo wearing the III patch and have some kind of contest for doing it from the farthest location...

We're the Only Ones...He's Where?...Enough

Earlier this month, officers from the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs raided a home in Mustang, Oklahoma, looking for Corey Davis. The cops didn't find Davis, which is no surprise; while the police tossed the house, the man they were looking for was cooling his heels at a prison boot camp where he's resided since November of last year. [More]
So who's the genius mastermind? Will there be any discipline, any reassignment...? Can we even get a name?

And what do want to bet had an occupant been injured or worse, the ruling would have been that it was justified by more erroneous "Only One" assumptions...?

All You Need to Know About the Nursing Home Shooting

The gunman was stopped by a single shot. [More]

OK, you might also want to know this:
He came in with a shotgun, a rifle and a couple other kinds of weapons...
You hear that, Fudds?

Oh, look: One more thing you need to know--the nursing home is a "gun free zone."

Where the Wild Things Are

But in recent months, the people of Canada's Olympic city have been living in fear...

The Mexican cocaine supply line extends through the United States, especially Los Angeles, up to Vancouver...and gangs are killing each other.
Human beings should not live in fear of predators.

Predators should live in fear of human beings.

That is, if we intend to occupy the top spot.

What, we think just because we live in cities we stopped being part of the natural world?

You should see what Mexican cartel monsters do to tender morsels like some of the bleating sheep in this story. And the government bureaucrats? The ones who don't play along end up with their heads in one corner, and their naked bodies stacked up in the other.

Leftist sympathies notwithstanding, Kirk Douglas had a great line in one of my favorite movies, "The List of Adrian Messenger."
Evil is.
Anyone who forgets that is a fool. Anyone who does not fight it is a coward.

We're the Only Ones Falsifying Enough

Sheriff Art Kell said, “I have enough to worry about with this other deputy stealing from the department to start an investigation over another deputy who may have falsified timesheets… until they break the law, I’m not going to get involved. I’ve had enough bad media press to deal with to start this up.” [More]
Good attitude, sheriff. Nice to know you require the highest integrity standards for the "Only Ones" you foist on the general public.

We've met the time cheat before. Remember? Nice to see he's worked so hard on being the best he can possibly be since then.

I meant to bring this story to you earlier, but got wrapped around the axle doing this.

When Avg Joe sent me this story, it jogged my memory.

Relative Safety

Where is the outrage to start banning these deadly sports? [More]
Be patient.

It'll come.

What Would be Enough?

"Just saying 'Joe Blow' is a drug dealer is not enough"... [More]

How about saying he has guns?

Maybe find out who some of the snitches are and anonymously call it in--let McWilliam and Hoy take care of the rat through the expected overreaction...

Not a Predictor of Future Good Behavior

But as the 10th anniversary of the high school massacre approaches, lawmakers are considering a bill that would waive the checks for anyone holding a concealed-carry permit.

Police chiefs and sheriffs are among those who testified against the measure, which is scheduled to be heard by the full Senate next week...

"Getting a permit is not a predictor of future good behavior," said Eileen McCarron, president of Colorado Ceasefire Capitol Fund. [More]

Oh, and becoming an "Only One" is, genius?

And Linda Newell: You're a liar with a big "but". If you were "pro-Second Amendment," you'd be championing "shall not be infringed."

Tommy Needs a Home

Tommy is normally very quiet, but he can have quite a fiery personality that is sure to delight you on the occasions it comes out. He needs a good home and a responsible, loving caretaker.

Won't you help?

The satisfaction and rewards could be immeasurable. [More]

Do 90% of Mexican 'Crime Guns' Come from U.S.?

The only explanations are ATF and their masters at DoJ are either hopelessly oblivious to what is really happening, that is, criminally negligent, or they are engaged in an outright conspiratorial fraud to deprive us of our rights.

Those are serious charges. I submit the sworn testimony of Deputy AG Ogden makes this a matter for official inquiry. Under glaring lights. [More]
Today's Gun Rights Examiner column offers proof the antis are lying about U.S. guns and Mexico.

It's also provides a way to go on the offensive and force BATFU to answer some tough questions under oath. But whether that happens or not depends entirely on the gun owners who read this column, that is, on you and the people you forward this to.

This Day in History: March 30

The office of Adjutant General being vacant, by the resignation of Colo. Reed, and the power of appointing a successor with me, I am induced, from the good opinion I entertain of your attachment to the Interest of the United States and your Military character, not only to make a tender, but most heartily to wish your acceptance of it.
