After disbanding their police department, Pewaukee officials are trying to find out why 58,000 rounds of ammunition were left and what they should do with it. [More]I don't suppose you guys have any of those "who are the militia? They consist now of the whole people" types who could put it to good use...?
I know, I know. I can't claim that as my original idea.

let's say a typical 9mm JHP defense round ranges from $1.00 to $1.50 or so. i picked those numbers on ammoengine.com and it ought to be fairly representative.
ReplyDeletethat's $58,000 of ammo. or $87,000 of ammo.
and they bought while prices were rising. so. sell it back into the market, and spend the increase reducing the debt your city obviously has too much of, considering you no longer have a police department. it's called bankruptcy. your capital gets liquidated because you mismanaged it, because you cannot make simple calculations, because it's not your money. it's tax plunder.
are government employees all this stupid? or just the ones who also believe in socialism, above and beyond participating in it?
