Fingering a Terrorist Threat

Student suspended after finger gun incident

..."That was considered a terroristic threat because the teacher feared for her life"... [More]
Oh fer cryin' out loud. I guess handling things like an adult is too much to expect.

Funny. Often times, the "Authorized Journalists" don't disclose the names of minors accused of things. In this case, because a unionized government worker is involved, because sacred AUTHORITAH has been challenged, well, that's a different set of rules. It's their name that gets protected.

Besides, the girl says she was practicing to be a Furious Mike "Only One." Hell, looks to me like she's a natural.

Still, I understand how the sight of someone doing this would make some feel threatened. For instance, the guy pictured here appears to be making a double-threat. But because of that different set of rules, we're expected to just take it.

  1. How can someone actually become a putative adult and still be terrified by a pointed finger? Worse yet, how can someone with such a serious psychological problem be allowed to work with children?

  2. I guess they've never watched a "Wiggles" video. Although they do scare me in a way....

  3. I am surprised that the teacher is not suspended for overreacting and misreporting an incident.
I am waiting for the same teacher to report that one of her students deployed a terroristic "weapon of mass destruction" by farting loudly and creating a stench, given the age group.

  4. We need to implement zero tolerance policies against idiotic teachers and school administrators.

Or perhaps we can unionize the students...

  5. I wonder how long Gerald McBoing-Boing would fare in Marxist-controlled public school?
