I carry a gun for the safety of myself and my family. I won't protect anyone who chooses to be disarmed, nor will I engage an armed criminal unless I or my family is in danger.
If I was attending college and an armed criminal started shooting people, I wouldn't shoot him unless I was personally in danger - such as if he came into the room I was in shooting.
Instead, I would immediately ex-filtrate the area, using my gun for the protection of myself and family.
Sorry folks. I understand the consequences of armed resistance. I'll take care of myself and my family, and expect you to do the same. It appears that many of the posters at Dallas News aren't willing to do that. They're content to wait for TRAINED "only ones" with guns to travel to the problem area and then eliminate the conflict.
Far be it from me to actually go out of my way to stop the threat - heck - they don't even want me to, nor do they trust me to do so. And I'm not inclined to be a hero. I choose to defend myself and family, and respect their right to adopt, or refuse to adopt, any defensive posture that suits their needs. Even if it's just denial.
Seems most of them don't read much news these days. One poster actually thought that the soldiers at Ft. Hood were armed while they were being shot down.
If one makes a choice to travel about unarmed, here's a tool these pantie wetters can use for their safety: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C0vyxgJLJVA
Does he have mommy hold his hand when he goes potty too?
ReplyDeleteWhy do they project their incompetence and insecurity on the rest of us?
He must not know how to shoot them well.
