Nancy Pelosi, in urging passage of the bill, referred to Tucson as "this tragic accident." You have to wonder about the mental processes of all the anti-freedom types. They can't appeal to the intellect so they appeal to the knee-jerk reflex and the gut instinct and the bleeding heart. That's no way to run a country. But that's how they get elected in the first place. Waving the bloody shirt. Because the people don't think, or not deeply enough. Or maybe they just have no use for self-determination anymore. They're in the Matrix with what THEY need and want. "Don't decant me from my pod and free my mind, I'm quite comfortable. Other people? They're just in my way."
