As Well He Should Have

Cat5 CEO Cain Weinman was quick to walk back the statement of his COO, 'setting the record straight" that his company "fully supports the Second Amendment." Mr. Weinman went to the pro-gun blogs himself and posted his full-throated support for gun rights, throwing his second-in-command under the armor-plated bus. [More]
Good. If that's the guy's judgment, he should have fired him.

And I suppose the Post-Dispatch's idea of "sane" is being utterly powerless to keep from being dispatched post-haste?

  1. This guy (RJ Matson) is sooo full of crap. In the article he says:
"While the gun lobby has gained strength in the past couple of decades, the actual rate of gun ownership in the country is declining. One in two households had a gun in 1973. In 2010, despite an explosion in the number of guns in the United States, the rate fell to one in three. Fewer people own more guns, and those guns are more powerful than ever."

What is this based on? Surveys where people call up anomalously and ask if you own guns? Yeah, I'm going to answer that question... NOT!

And more powerful than ever? WTF? So granddad's BAR is "LESS" powerful than an AR? An His Thompson is "LESS" powerful than an MP5...

This guy (RJ Matson) is yet another example of a writer/ commentator who knows NOTHING about the topic (firearms/ the 2nd Amendment) and feels qualified to instruct/ preach to the Unenlightened masses as to how to act.

I continued to be disgusted and amazed by such thinking.
