I suppose telling your readers about making it mandatory rather than a free market choice would spoil the narrative.  Like you've been a longtime champion of free markets.

And I'm still working on evidence related to the curious timing in California.  This ain't over by a long shot.

  2. If someone wants to buy this silly thing, why should I care? I care only to the extent that I won't have a choice!

    Gun owners can certainly choose to be idiots and make stupid threats (if any actually were made). But a few careless, dumb and loudmouth people don't speak for the other 100 million or so gun owners NOT making threats.
