    A: there has never been an R presidential candidate to utter such blasphemy. Bush the Elder penned an order barring import of certain weapons, Bush the Younger never touched on this topic. But none dare call for repeal of NFA '34, GCA '68 (?) or the not so protective aspects of the McClure-Volkmer Firearms Owner Protection Act of 80 something.
