Meet the New Chair

NOT the same as the old chair? [More]

I dunno -- they both have "As" from GOA, and Jordan is actually half a point higher ("A" compared to "A-") from Numbers USA...

I hope we do see more action from the Freedom Caucus. But I'll need more than rah-rah testimonials using phrases like "rock-ribbed conservative."

Very pretty, Colonel, Very pretty. But, can they fight?

How about we see an agenda and a milestone schedule, something that lets us in on what the plan is and then lets us measure how they're doing with it?  You know, project management tools like they use in business to define goals and track progress?

  1. I will give him the benefit of the doubt.

    I'm hoping he's fighter.

    "Today is a Good Day to Die" -- how many GOPers are as battle-tested as the Klingon?

    I saw this and I'm copying it here:
    ===================================
    For Klingons, like the Vikings of Ancient Earth, the best afterlife is reserved for the great warriors. Their religion and mythos hold that a warrior who dies valiantly in battle, facing a worthy foe, will almost certainly be granted a place in Stovokor.

    So when a Klingon says, "Today is a good day to die," what he means is "This is a worthy foe. Should I fight him and fail, it is not dishonorable." Honor is a bit important to Klingons in the same way that water is a tad damp. Faced with the decision to flee and live or fight and maybe (or even certainly) die (but perhaps protect others) a Klingon warrior's duty is to fight and die.
