We're the Only Ones Diversionary Enough?
Someone has stolen thousands of rounds of ammunition from a locked building at Crater Lake National Park, and the National Park Service is asking for the public’s help in finding the whoever is responsible. [More]And there's a tip line?
Hmm. Who knew about it?
Let's see, means, motive, opportunity...
If I tell them to look internally and they catch the guy, will I get the reward?

If It Ain't Broke Don't Fix It?
Mr. Michel said his law firm was primed to file a lawsuit this week over regulations issued by the California Department of Justice that outlined how the state’s gun owners could register assault weapons under the state’s new definition of the firearms. [More]There is that.
And then there's also this.
Funny how I never see anyone from the California gun community talking about how they got to where they are and what's going to keep them there. Must not be part of that "single issue."
Then We Can ALL Be Blues States
The Unbearable Lightness of Being Caroline
I wonder how this insulated cud-chewer would do in a fight. [More]
We're the Only Ones Firmly Backing Enough
“As a Sheriff, I firmly back the Second Amendment,” says Abston ... “This money generated from the pistol permit goes to buy our uniforms, equipment, our firearms, our training, our ammunition to train and send people to the police academy. Once you take away that funding where’s the money going to come from?” [More]You need a firm back with a goddamn "but" that big.
Potential States
Why not Jefferson? [More]
It's funny how related issues can come up at the same time. My kid brother called me this morning about the upcoming Puerto Rico statehood referendum and wanted to know the Constitutional protections against millions of Democrat sympathizers voting themselves in.
It's Article IV, Section 3, which also covers the California situation:

It's Article IV, Section 3, which also covers the California situation:
New states may be admitted by the Congress into this union; but no new states shall be formed or erected within the jurisdiction of any other state; nor any state be formed by the junction of two or more states, or parts of states, without the consent of the legislatures of the states concerned as well as of the Congress.I signed the Jefferson petition anyway. Every little bit helps.

What Do You Think, Doc? The Valve Spring Compressor?
A controversial Florida law that restricted doctors from asking patients about firearm ownership violates medical professionals’ constitutional right to free speech, a federal appeals court ruled Thursday. [More]I'd be interested in finding out how many of those deciding judges were nominated and confirmed by Republicans. You know, just out of curiosity.
Time to bring the questionnaires out again.

Teach Your Children Well
Teachers filmed playing 'F---, marry or kill' about students keep their jobs [More]Of course.
It's not like they were supporting Trump's refugee policies or anything.
Hey Kids, Do You Know What Day This Is?
That last bit is no doubt one of the benefits of them sleeping in. |
I'm talking this.
I'm sure business owners are wondering how they'll get through the day, what with unemployed people not going to work and also not showing up to break windows and start fires.
The "I'm going to leave" argument only works if they want you to stay.
And this is too damn funny -- sensing total fail, they'll settle for tweets during lunch break! That'll "shut down the 1%."
Oh, those kooky "progressives."
Can There Be No Peace Between Our Peoples?
What do you think? [More]
Oh, and for all you who don't revere Stalin (peace be upon him), you need to not "take the secondary aspect of his errors in dialectical materialism and make them the principle factor."
Or we'll kill you:

The 'Progressive' Solution
Woman in U.S. illegally is arrested in DUI crash that killed Noblesville man [More]Issue licenses then, like California. Who but a hater would suggest something else?
Back when I was living there, a colleague's teenaged daughter was killed when a car full of illegals plowed into hers on the freeway. None of them would admit to being the driver and the main suspect disappeared, presumably across the border. But that was long enough ago to where he's probably been gracing us with the blessings of his presence -- and then some -- since then.
Meanwhile, a beautiful young lady had her life cut short and would never experience its joys and realize her potential. And my co-worker, who had always been friendly and quick to joke until his precious girl was ripped away from him, lived out his shortened days a shattered, broken man who would never see justice.
Vibrancy on Parade
After the brawl, the school was placed on lockdown...[More]Good thing our diversity is our strength.
And the security guard was beaten?
Too bad Wayne wasn't there.
Everytown Narrator’s Fan Girl Threatens Star’s Critics with Gun Photo
“Me if anyone ever tries to say that Troian doesn’t love her fans,” @MyQueenTroian wrote for a photo of her holding a gun (scroll down at link)and looking threateningly at the camera. Curiously, she posted that one day after she retweeted the Everytown video. [More]Why would an Everytown-supporting, celebrity-worshipping "common sense gun safety" advocate threaten to shoot people?
