This report is 100% in keeping with the recent traditions of mindless journalism. Teachers are opting to get firearms training (fine), and they don’t want to be defenseless (fine), but later in the article it reiterates that “schools are gun-free zones.” Does the obvious question simply never occur to these meat puppets? What advantage will this training give the teachers that their employer the state won’t immediately take away?
