The real story here, which naturally goes unmentioned, is how little "gunviolence" was perpetrated as a result.

Think about the implications,  and especially about those on "our side" with a vested interest in maintaining the illusion.

  1. I can’t make any sense of this.

    In the time period of this nonfeasance, the state processed over a quarter million permit requests and rejected abut 6,500 (whether for cause or due to submission errors), or just under 2.5%. But the employee who couldn’t log in was apparently responsible for only 365 of those licenses. However, upon reviewing those, the state pulled 291 of her permits, or almost 80%.

    Something stinks here.
