  1. Huh.

So, brother tells cops there's lots of firearms that he'd like to secure, cops tell him 10 days, firearms and safes stolen...

    Did I get this right?

  2. "...cause whoever’s got these guns they didn’t go through a background check.”

Goodness! The criminals didn't submit themselves to the background check system? I mean, if criminals don't submit themselves to background checks, the whole system will be for nothing! I mean, you know, only people who won't fail the background check will be getting background checks! I mean, uhhhmmmm... we gotta get these criminals to comply... or it just won't work!

    Shucksbygolly!

  3. People are often misquoted in the media, so I won't hold Rod accountable for this statement, but can anybody see what's wrong with it?

“It’s very worrisome because we could be the victim of gun violence through these guns," gun shop owner Rod Brandenburg said. "Police could be victims. You guys could be victims out on the street cause whoever’s got these guns they didn’t go through a background check.”

  5. "Hey Charlie, you think 10 days is enough? OK, that's what I'll tell him."
