The Wrong Question

Do persons under 21 have any Second Amendment rights? [More]
Well, seeing as how it's settled that "This is not a right granted by the Constitution. Neither is it in any manner dependent upon that instrument for its existence," perhaps we ought to consult with Mr.Pynchon before answering that.

  1. A person is either an adult at the age of 18 or he is not. If he cannot exercise the full rights of an emancipated adult, then he cannot contract, nor be conscripted.

If the legal age of adulthood, universally accepted, is 21 years, so be it. Fully.

If it is 18 years, so be it. Fully.
