    Agreed, David. This is no victory for Va gun owners. It would not be surprising if this had been Northam's real position all along. Neither NY nor CT has made house to house searches despite the low level of compliance with the registration requirement. The big win for the Statists is that they will have successfully eliminated sales of a whole infinitely expansible class of firearms. There is no way this can be construed as a victory for gun owners.
