Follow the Money

Conservative journalist Tom McArdle has a very worthwhile piece in the new outfit Issues & Insights analyzing possible legal responses to ongoing brutal Antifa attacks — such as this week’s hospitalizing assault on journalist Andy Ngo in Portland, Ore. — using the federal Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act., a.k.a. RICO. [More]

Fauxtraumatic Stress Disorder

The San Francisco Unified School District will spend $600,000 to paint over a historic, 13-panel mural depicting the life of George Washington after a select working group deemed it racist. The 83-year-old mural at George Washington High School “traumatizes students and community members,” concluded the Reflection and Action Working Group. [More]

So who wanted to offer appeasement? Name and eject the cowards and let them forever be marked.

It figures Mr. & Mrs. Wayne would leave on a $70K Bahamas junket. I'm sure the average members NRA keeps making desperate fundraising pleas to will appreciate spending more on a vacation than they make in a year.

And top-notch flacking, Andrew, explaining Wayne going into hiding when real leadership was needed most as "being respectful of the victims and their families.” You certainly do have a way with weasel words.

I can't access the WaPo story because they want me to subscribe. If they name any of the quislings, let the rest of us know?

Back in the Days before 'School Shootings'

Receive via email fromWarOnGunsCorrespondent CDT, who notes:
I cribbed this graphic from the Summer, 2018 issue of AMAC Advantage, the magazine of the Association of Mature American Citizens. AMAC is a conservative alternative to the AARP, suitable for those who object to their "service organization" lobbying in favor of Obamacare, banning guns, and funneling 95% of their political donation budget to Democrats. For those of you traveling with me along the Geezer Highway, I recommend them.
