I live in Miami-Dade County, FL. I have one neighbor across the street who is of Irish extraction. ALL of my other neighbors are from somewhere in Central or South America. If you were to go to the county's equivalent of a capitol building, the Steven P Clark Center, you will not hear a word of English spoken unless it is by an African American employee.
With that having been said, I have never heard the word "Latinx" spoken by anyone other that a Talking Head on TV.
So, in other words, by creating the term "Latinx", progressives have engaged in "Cultural Appropriation"?
ReplyDeleteThat's certainly the angle I will use in shaming them...

Don't take my word for it!
