The Voice of Experience

He repeated, “It doesn’t matter. They have more soldiers than you have bullets, besides in this country they have sophisticated means. Americans will not stand a chance against this government any more than we did. [More]
No, in fact "they" don't.

What defeatist bullshit. So much is wrong with their "analysis," starting with a subjectively defeatist attitude. No wonder these two ignorant people were go-along-to-get-along slaves -- just the type NOT to take counsel from.

I repeat my question.

The DOD memo is not the final word. Wouldn't it be something if a vulnerability ends up being exploited at a location where the choice has been taken away?

Why Does Country Need New Citizens Who Won’t Defend It?

Why is it in our interests to recognize citizenship for foreigners who will not “provide for the common defence”? The Constitution was written for us, so it seems fair to ask: What’s in it for us? What’s in it for our Posterity? [More]
Why is it in our interests to invite someone in to eat the bread who won't help make it?

Cloudy with a Chance of Tyranny

One top Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change official bluntly says climate policy is no longer about environmental protection; instead, the next climate summit will negotiate “the distribution of the world’s resources.” UN Climate Chief Christiana Figueres goes even further. UN bureaucrats, she says, are undertaking “probably the most difficult task we have ever given ourselves, which is to intentionally transform the global economic development model.” [More]
What? You mean it's not about protecting Mother Gaia? It's about forced global redistribution and control of wealth and power?

Another State Backs Down After ‘I Will Not Comply’ Uproar

“[I]f you ignore the telephone blitz you are currently experiencing, it will be my honor and my pleasure to lead ‘I Will Not Comply’ armed civil disobedience actions numbering (at least) in the hundreds of participants at every Alabama Welcome Center in the state, as well as in front of your headquarters,” Vanderboegh told Cooper after outlining some of the actions he’s led defying edicts in other states. “So, I hope you save us the trouble and reverse this dangerous and deadly policy.” [More]
Defiant resolve works. More "moderate" gun advocates would do well to remember that before condemning the actively disobedient as "extremists." Pandering to the media in an attempt to appear "reasonable" won't keep the antis from sticking that label on them at the first opportunity.

I Hate to Say I Told You So

Trump is no friend to anyone but himself:
But he said the country should take a different approach with "the other ones" — i.e., undocumented immigrants who have "done a good job" since arriving in the U.S.
Yep-- besides, what's a little cultural terraforming and irreversible manipulation of the political landscape compared to The Donald's need for cheap labor to clean and maintain his properties? Besides, putting all the focus on the "bad" ones will lull anyone shallow enough to fall for this fraud's con into staying oblivious until awareness doesn't matter any more.

Good thing this will have no impact on that "single issue."

Boomers

Lot of times, it's the husband who had hunted 30 years ago, hasn't really done anything since then, and the wife has never fired a handgun or firearm of any type. [More]
In other words, people with above-average resources, and social and economic advantages, have been absolutely useless in all the action to protect RKBA during their lifetimes that has brought us to this point where they can still buy a gun -- no thanks to them. I'll bet if you polled them, they'd think "universal background checks" was a pretty good idea, and they'd wonder why anyone needed an "assault weapon."
