A Right Denied

The Supreme Court declined on Monday to take up several cases regarding the scope of the Second Amendment. Despite a low hurdle for the right-leaning Supreme Court, the justices turned down petitions from 10 challenges to state laws established to limit the availability and accessibility of some firearms and when they can be carried in public.[More]
Here's the order list including CERTIORARI DENIED for:
If they won't hear these cases, what chance is there to hear one dealing with the core purpose of the Second Amendment?

Might I also suggest judicial foot-dragging in anticipation of November election results and a change in the selection criteria for new justices?

UPDATE:

Alan Gottlieb says “The Supreme Court’s refusal to take a Second Amendment Foundation case falls squarely at the feet of Chief Justice John Roberts."

Some of us have questioned his appointment since Day One.

Yeah, well, lest we get too excited over shared interests:
Koreatown lies within Los Angeles City Council District 10 and is represented on the city council by Herb J. Wesson, Jr. The area is represented by Mark Ridley-Thomas, Supervisor of District 2 for Los Angeles County. Mike Davis is the State Assemblyman for the Koreatown area. Jimmy Gomez of California's 34th congressional district represents the area in the United States House of Representatives.
This is what I meant by "evidence."

U.S. Attorney William McSwain released a statement saying, “Anybody who is familiar with Krasner’s methods could see this coming from a mile away. He is setting the stage for letting the rioters, looters, burglars, and arsonists who rampaged through Philadelphia off the hook. This criminal behavior has nothing to do with peaceful protest. Krasner has never shown any interest in upholding the rule of law and isn’t going to start now.” [More]

And Roll Call maintaining "Trump endorsement didn’t help," based on a tweet in December and then silence before the primary, is designed to make voters think associating with him is the kiss of political death-- when in fact it was the man who champions the agenda that got the president elected who won.

New Lies for Old

They’re not taking a knee because they’re against our flag. [More]
That will certainly come as a surprise to Colin Kaepernick:
"I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color," Kaepernick told NFL Media in an exclusive interview after the game.
And lest we forget:
“The Colin Kaepernick Foundation donated in April $25,000 to Assata’s Daughters, a Chicago ‘direct action’ resistance organization honoring Assata Shakur, who escaped prison and fled to Cuba after being found guilty in the 1973 murder of Officer Werner Foerster.”
That's what this coward is kneeling for, and through his position putting unconscionable pressure on individual players who may not want to kneel but fear ruination and the trashing of a lifetime of work and achievement to get where they are. It's not optional.

We know it extends lower, to school teams and youth leagues. Who would subject their child to the choice between being true to themselves and being condemned by his adult-manipulated peers just to play sports, or surrendering to the pressure and learning that betrayal of conscience is the social expectation if one wishes to survive and advance?

Ideologically, this is conscience rape, equivalent to Harvey Weinstein saying if you want a place at my table, you'll need to take TWO knees.
