The Stuff that Dreams are Made Of

[A]re virtual actors about to put Hollywood's humans out of work? [More]
My first reaction was to cheer on the fall of stars from the firmament. But the thought strikes these could even be more dangerous as influencers.

Think about all the idiot idol worshippers out there. Tell me a Twitter account from a "blue check" celebot wouldn't garner a mass following that hangs on every political pronouncement.

In another review, I enjoyed the following description:

"Montag turns off the TV walls and tries to engage the three women in conversation. They reluctantly oblige him, but he becomes angry when they describe how they voted in the last presidential election, based solely on the physical appearance and other superficial qualities of the candidates."

The book was written in 1953, so I'm pretty sure none of the women in it said, "Because he black."
