Government fought bail release claiming gun dealers a ‘danger to community’

Supposedly incriminating statements included Reese telling his wife “The truth will come out and these people will be exposed for what they truly are – a bunch of cons liars and cheats and thieves. [More]
This evening's Gun Rights Examiner exclusive report shows how the government's accusations point all fingers back at themselves. Please help spread this one and help expose these ambitious "official" sadists for what they are.

(Un)Clear Channel

I just received an email from Grammy Award-winning musician Steve Vaus as a follow-up to this story:
FYI - just received word that Clear Channel's DC/Baltimore stations have also rejected the COME AND TAKE IT ad (WASH, WBIG, WWDC, WIHT, and WMZQ).

Damn frustrating that at the very same time the President is flying around the country on our dime selling gun control, I can't BUY time to respond.
That's an excellent point. Feel free to make it to the ones helping to suppress a freedom message while they enjoy the benefits of using "public airwaves" under license from a government that is specifically tasked, hell, mandated "to secure the Blessings of Liberty."
The phone number I gave them goes here.

The Goal is In Sight

Remember "Assaulted"?

Remember seeing how far they've come?

They're in sight of the goal but an email project update says they need a helpful push:
Time to roll up our sleeves and start a serious push to get this campaign funded.

We need to raise $50,000 over the next ten days. Impossible? No. We had over 900 backers on our first campaign and we've had only a little over 200 so far participate in this campaign. So, if all of the original backers will kick in, along with the new donors that have joined us, we will easily reach our goal. But we need all of you to spread the word to your friends and hit that "BACK THIS PROJECT" button.

Please, help us finish this very important film. http://kck.st/VZmXBM

Imagination Land

No, it's not that South Park episode.

This one is even more ridiculous:
2nd-grader suspended over imaginary grenade
Bear sent the school administrators an imaginary chronicle of the event, and expects their imaginations are now in overdrive.

Little Flop of Horrors

"Think Progress" (and there's an Orwellian bit of contradiction on two counts for ya) gets the vapors. [Read--or don't. You really won't be missing much

Speaking of those, don't tell them, but I (and every one of my militia extremist hatriot co-conspirators) have routinely been buying volatile flammable/explosive chemicals in quantities sufficient to kill scores at a time, and with absolutely no way to trace it back to us, that is, unless we use our supermarket fuel perks cards to get a discount...

Mason Triads

David E. Young has an important historical context post that directly applies to our current situation, and that we would all do well to read, understand and share.  Doing so will really chap the "monopoly of violence" hive insects' hides.  [So read, understand and share already]

Remaining jailed New Mexico gun dealers finally freed after bureaucratic delay

Today's Gun Rights Examiner report brings some happy news -- but note it's just a respite, a temporary calm in the eye of the hurricane, and the wall will be slamming into them again soon, and hard. That's why it's important for you to get involved, by helping the Reese family's ability to weather what's coming, and by making others aware of their outrageous ordeal.

No Argument

We're always glad when people visit from the coasts to learn what Texas is all about. But if we're unwilling to even consider the most limited gun regulations, then we might as well not be debating at all. [More]
Exactly.

It's not up for debate. And the editors of the Houston Chronicle are hardly representative of what Texas is about, or at least of what its founder intended.

This Day in History: February 6

February 6, 1781 at Grant's Creek, Rowan County, North Carolina - To prevent unnecessary losses in attempting to cross at Trading Ford, Cornwallis moved up river some distance to Shallow Ford. At the same time he sent Tarleton in advance to reconnoiter. Tarleton encountered Col. Francis Lock and 100 North Carolina militia who were engaged in destroying the bridge at Grant's Creek. Tarleton sent a detachment up to around the mouth of the creek, for purposes of taking Locke from the rear. As a result, Locke's troops were dispersed, though with only 1 wounded. Cornwallis later crossed the Yadkin at Shallow Ford during the night, and was on the opposite bank by the 7th. Conclusion: British Victory [More]
