Exclusive: Whose Kind of Town is Chicago Now?

So much for having a full discussion. Asking people to look at contributing factors of personal conduct that measurably result in dependency, fatherless homes, abuse, crime, violence and the like is evidently something only a hater would presume to bring up. The problem is, those very conditions hardly encourage the investors and employers the angry voices are demanding deliver them prosperity. [More]

Chapel Hill police chief told officers to 'stay way out' as Confederate monument was toppled; one officer put on leave amid concerns over tattoo [More]
Yeah, well, not putting themselves on the line is kind of an "Only Ones" trademark, as Columbine and Parkland demonstrated.  So is taking the politically expedient course, as the manufactured tattoo "controversy" demonstrates.

The "progressives" don't want anyone opposed or not useful to them to be employable. They don't want them to eat.  Surprise.

Nobody thought this would be limited to "social media," did they?

So trumpeting the SPLC characterization of Three Percenters helps win herd approval for the economic ostracizing. And I'm sure the Town Manager and Council will have no interest in understanding what the philosophy really stands for, or would dare to correct the record if they did.

An Impromptu Appearance

I didn't have time to pre-announce this yesterday because Armed American Radio host Mark Walters called me literally moments before the broadcast went live to ask if I could come on and discuss my McCain piece. If you want you can listen to the archived program.

It's Moving to Meatspace

No one thought the enemy would be satisfied just shutting down our ability to earn a living on the internet, did they?  [More]

Of course they don't want you to be able to feed yourself and your family.  They want you dead. The demands that you be disarmed ought to be all the clue any of us need.

Because his Facebook page is disabled, I can't independently determine anything about the man being scrutinized, or if he did or said anything that would make concerns by reasonable people justifiable. But if affiliation with SPLC-smeared groups on social media and belief in the Founders'intent behind the Second Amendment is all the evidence needed to jeopardize a man's employment, then we're getting dangerously close to a place we won't be allowed to just walk away from.

I'm proudly "guilty" on both Oath Keepers and Three Percenter counts.  Which I guess means you'll need to decide whether or not you can be hurt by any affiliation with me...

‘FG42’ Profiles Revolutionary, Near-Forgotten Classic in Words and Pictures

What happened up to and including postwar designer shortsightedness and the renewed interest with SMG Guns reproductions is recounted in a painstakingly researched and attributed narrative supported by unique historical and original contemporary photographs. “FG42” fulfills John’s goal, in his own words, for “writing a story about a firearm longer than the 2,000 or 2,500 words allowed most firearm articles in magazines.” [More]

As Florida Goes

Democrats, meanwhile, rejected the moderate Graham in favor of Gillum, a Bernie Sanders-backed progressive who championed "Medicare-for-all" single-payer health insurance. His win highlights a Democratic Party embracing youth, energy and progressive policy stances. [More]
This will be a great chance to demoralize immature collectivists who believe all they have to do is be indignant and obnoxious about everything and they'll get adoration from the media and everything they demand. That is, provided gun owners do their part.

Republican DeSantis got an "A" from Fairfax, which backed his primary opponent with an "A+." What he got from GOA is unclear, as they have apparently taken down their simple to grok candidate grades and replaced them with a hard-to-follow "gun votes" matrix lumping all states and reps together, so that by the time you scroll down and find DeSantis, you have no idea what the header categories are (or what they really mean). Maybe I missed the grades page, and if I did all I can say is I used to be able to find it with ease under the home page "Resources" tab.

KISS, guys. With the importance of the midterms, this just baffles me. I shouldn't have to use the Wayback Machine to find out that in 2016 you gave the guy an "A." Most gun owners don't even know that resource exists.

There's one other resource for an inextricably entwined issue of vital importance to gun owners -- not that anyone besides me and a few others ever even mention it. DeSantis gets an "A+" from NumbersUSA.  Predictably, the Beltway access über alles boys favored the guy with the mediocre "C+".

UPDATE: Oh no he didn't! Jeez guy, really? Congratulations on cluelessly creating an exploitable meme that's going to follow you around the rest of this campaign and beyond -- and be used to smear your supporters.

Prevailing "Progressive" Sentiment

Here's a representative sampling of comments by Her Majesty's subjects on the plight of South African farmers:
Double negative = a positive. Land stolen from from the natives and then stolen back ... I hope this goes continent wide, including the De beers factory ... I don't feel sorry for this man at all. He profits off hunting large animals. Karma is truly at work here! ... Hmmm, so, like the Dutch grabbed the land from the native south Africans ... No it's not theft. And you can defend all you like it won't help ...  Go home mate ... At first I had sympathy... but then I read "hunting" farm..... A HUNTING farm??? Sorry farmer, NO sympathy here! Murdering animals for "sport" is VILE! ... If you kill animals they will get you back somehow...
Oh, look-- one from an unenlightened Yank made it through:
Jomo Kenyatta did this in Kenya (Mau Maus) which turned a food exporting country into an economic mess. Same with Zimbagwe. That is Communism for you. Always under the guise of "helping the poor: the party bosses get rich. Same with Cuba and Venezuela.
How much sympathy will you be able to muster for the top group of comment posters when their willful ignorance brings about their turn in the barrel?

Strategic Confusion

Most of the school leaders NPR reached had little idea of how shootings got recorded for their schools. [More]
Hey, if we can cherry-pick our numbers and change definitions as desired, we can claim anything we like.

And then you run into inexcusable crap like this:
For example, the CRDC reports 26 shootings within the Ventura Unified School District in Southern California. "I think someone pushed the wrong button," said Jeff Davis, an assistant superintendent there. The outgoing superintendent, Joe Richards, "has been here for almost 30 years and he doesn't remember any shooting," Davis added. "We are in this weird vortex of what's on this screen and what reality is."

So find out. How did those numbers get there, bureaucrat? Sorry about your dinner plans, you're going to stay until you figure it out.

At least that's what I'd have been told on every position I've ever held. Sorry-- I keep forgetting not everyone's job depends on performance.

Though the Brady Center to Combat Gun Violence, a group known for its support for gun control, is backing the campaign, the campaign itself does not appear to push a legislative agenda in its ad or on its official website, which should come as a relief to gun owners and Second Amendment supporters. [More]
Of course it pushes an agenda. And a "pro-gun" site is helping them "legitimize" their claim of being "commonsense gun safety advocates" with that kind of characterization.

They really don't know what the billionaire-funded Astroturfers continuously use "PSAs" for, and how fake they are? They don't see the talking points and the manipulation? They don't know that "kids" include gangbangers that are tried as adults? They don't instantly recognize the goal here? Really?

You don't invite a vampire to cross the threshold. The people behind the "campaign" want you disarmed. By force. They have since Day One.

And once you are, they'll want more and there won't be a goddamn thing you can do about it.

They are the enemy.

They Must Be Joking

But this being a movie project that will veer off-center from the traditional Batman canon, sources say the script paints Thomas Wayne as a cheesy and tanned businessman who is more in the mold of a 1980s Donald Trump. [More]
"Starring" Alec Baldwin and Robert De Niro...?

I'm imagining an investor meeting where a project requiring over a hundred million dollars that's guaranteed to alienate most people in the red part of the map is pitched.  Add the fact that they'll be ginning up the hate in "gun free zones" with near-identical stimuli that have already worked once and thanks, but no.

Infantocracy

A Third Of Teens Haven’t Read A Single Book In Past Year - Stunning research shows just 2% of sophomores read daily newspaper — compared to third of same-aged teens in 1990s [More]
What, you mean the demographic that demands the power to define our rights and tell us what to do?

And They Say There Are No Stupid Questions

When should the media report on murders by refugees? [More]
Uh...when they happen?

Find one excuse being given that's not pure, agenda-covering horsecrap. Here's the motivator:
ARD is publicly financed and therefore free to cover the news without fear that low ratings will drive it into bankruptcy.
If you're a government-dependent mouthpiece, it's not free and it's not news.

The First Thing You'll Learn is How to Slide Down the Pole

I was sexually assaulted by FDNY firefighters on my first day [More]
I'm sure such aggression is much more prevalent in the MEC (Media Exalted Class) than we've been led to believe, but don't look for an extension of the #MeToo movement any time soon.  After all, if the City is arguing this was just "a funny way to break the ice," who am I to doubt?

Besides, just ask George Takei how much credence is given to accusers.

Reported ‘Gun Hypocrite’ Brock Advancing Soros Media Suppression Plot

The totalitarian lobby demands controlling far more than just our guns. [More]
Don't think of it as guarding against "fake news," Think of it as ideological cleansing.

Besides, You Don't Need a 3D Printed Gun to Hunt Deer

Judge allows temporary ban on 3D-printed gun files to continue [More]
As I read this, it's because the government screwed up so the people must be punished...

Michael Cohen's lawyer backs off claim that Trump knew of Russian interference [More]
Sure Emily, go ahead:

Besides, it doesn't matter, because tell me Clinton apparatchik Lanny Davis didn't know that once the allegations were out there, they became repeatable "truths" for millions suffering the brain-crippling effects of TDS.

It sounds like grounds for an exploratory bar complaint to me.

Quibbling Over Details

The important thing is, what does SHE identify as NOW? [More]

Leap Into Action!

Please use our TAKE ACTION Button below to contact your state legislator and urge their opposition to these bills. [More]
Which ones should we appeal to? Those in invulnerable districts (which based on results are most of them), who will instead just get a good laugh?

More to the point, when is Fairfax going to take action so that what they allowed to happen in California (without any acknowledgment but a lame excuse coupled with deliberate indifference) won't happen in the rest of the country?

The Replacements

Among those people being talked about as potential appointees are Cindy McCain, John McCain's wife of more than 37 years, and former Sen. Jon Kyl. [More]
Kyl is needed on Kavanaugh.  And as disastrous as the Widow McCain would be if left to her own devices for any length of time, it's more than likely she'll follow suit.

Not that many unanswered questions don't still exist...

"Progressives" and cheap labor Republicans will tell us this is obviously "fake news" aggregated by "haters" and they need to be banned from social media.

Alternatively, you could support their efforts and spread the word about them.
