Impending House Gun Votes are Deplorable Concessions by Republicans to Gun-grabbers

Find the turkey...
Define “due process.” Is it being charged, tried in accordance with laws respecting rights, and found guilty before being denied a fundamental right? Or is it some law enforcement careerist using a secret list of undetermined sources and reliability convincing a judge or panel of unknown political sympathies that some tenuous “probable cause” alibi exists? [More]
Tell them no.  Tell NRA that, too.

The Gift That Keeps on Giving?

One of the guns used in the November 13, 2015 Paris terrorist attacks came from Phoenix, Arizona where the Obama administration allowed criminals to buy thousands of weapons illegally in a deadly and futile “gun-walking” operation known as “Fast and Furious.” ... ATF leaders went out of their way to keep the information under the radar and ensure that the gun owner’s identity was “kept quiet,” according to law enforcement sources involved with the case. “Agents were told, in the process of taking the fully auto, not to anger the seller to prevent him from going public,” a veteran law enforcement official told Judicial Watch. [More]
I wonder why. I wonder if it's connected to Gunwalker. And I wonder if the Republican majority Congress is going to continue accepting stonewalling so that "independents" have to do all the uncovering.

That's an improvement.

I hate to be the fly in the ointment (not really, someone's got to be) but what does this do for people who don't believe anyone has authority to dispense "permission" to exercise a right?  Not that they're likely to let a sign deter them, but it does pretty much guarantee they won't be saving others or sticking around afterward to make a report...

CCDL Endorsed Candidate List

This year, our job of vetting candidates has come with some regret. Some legislators we endorsed in the past have voted for a gun control bill (HB5054) this past session. Turkish Airport Terror Attack Shows ‘Gun Laws’ Make No Difference

How the terrorist got his hands on such a weapon demonstrates the utter uselessness of “gun control” at stopping those who are evil and determined.  Because Turkey’s gun laws read like Hillary’s wish list. [More]

JPFO Now Backing 'Gun Control'

What else would you call an email blast and site link to post a Faux News video gushing favorably over the NRA/Cornyn Due Process Suspension Act without defining the dangerous secret "due process" disconnect (start at 1:23 in video)? [More]

We don't need ANY new "gun control." Not only doesn't it work, it still ends up scapegoating gun availability and ignores the inconvenient reality that anyone who can't be trusted with a gun can't be trusted without a custodian. If there are terrorists in this country, look at how they got here and are still getting in here.

That, of course, would require taking Islamophile/Bloomberg immigration pal Grover Norquist to task, and the new JPFO head honcho, along with the "it's not the single issue" faction has no interest in admitting that -- for transparent reasons that do nothing to refute the "pathway to citizenship" threat argument.

Ms. Dash's heart is in the right place, but she's only splashing in the shallow end of the pool and is not yet ready for deeper waters. I guess that makes her perfect for a sound bite audience.

I don't believe it. Especially not after Brexit.

Hey, aren't I the guy who cites polls to make my case on "pathway to citizenship" cultural terraforming?  What gives?

I can't access the Wall Street Journal/NBC poll, but I note the WaPo/ABC poll is of "registered voters" as opposed to "high propensity voters."

I also note media pushing this, including Faux News, a.k.a. the Murdoch Family Trust, is all out for more "legal" immigration and amnesty for the illegals.

I see this as an attempt to inject an unelectabilty / foregone defeatist conclusion into any who would oppose Hillary, primarily to dampen enthusiasm, derail momentum and discourage turnout.  And the not-so-silent partners in this are the establishment Republicans, desperate to regain control from the rebels, and viewing helping with their rout and blaming their rebellion against "experienced counsel" as the best way to drive them humbled back into the fold.

"Estranged cousins"...? The way I've read about this in other accounts, the assumption was they were named as heirs. This reads that they claim to be heirs.

I was wondering why even "progressives" would turn their noses up at $5M unless they were already extremely wealthy enough to be able to afford such political statements. California voters will decide in November whether to tighten the state's already tough gun control laws after the secretary of state's office said a proposal exceeded the number signatures needed to qualify for the fall ballot on Thursday. [More]
Can you imagine being stupid enough to vote for Gavin Newsom?

What Parasites Do to Hosts

ISIS calls for attacks in Berlin and Brussels to 'paralyse' Europe in wake of Brexit chaos [More]
You know what Europe needs?

More "refugees."

We do, too.  And anyone who disagrees is a hater and an extremist.

It's kind of fun to watch a sleeping giant awake. I'm just wondering what's being planned to knock it out again.  Because this isn't just a matter of the loyal opposition agreeing to disagree.

Would-be total controllers that stop at nothing to achieve their ends will not give up with a handshake and a smile. Note the promise of more death and destruction, and the introduction of the meme that a vote for independence has played right into the terrorists' hands.

Sometimes, the real parasites and terrorists aren't the obvious ones.

Top Gun?

Kelly McGillis chooses concealed carry after surviving an attack. [More]

Doesn't she know the attacker will just take the gun away from her? Note how no one ever challenges the fools who say that to demonstrate how?

Too bad her Twitter feed shows her to be a typical lefty.

Fun Times in Cleveland Again

Restrictions on speeches and parades outside next month's Republican National Convention were struck down by a federal judge Thursday as unconstitutional. [More]
For anyone planning to immerse themselves in the upcoming festivities, I recommend checking out Google Maps to note man-made and natural obstacles like the river and the lake, and to plan an escape route. Also use the street view feature to see the concrete, glass and steel canyons and dead ends that will keep gas from dispersing and channel stampedes.

Good luck getting parking nearby, and if you do, good luck being able to get out if things go south, which could end up being the only viable direction. I also wouldn't count on CRTA to get me out of there.

There will be loud and hateful disrupters seeking destruction and mayhem, and also targets of opportunity wearing the wrong "colors." And depending on how they're dealt with, we could see the fun spread to other cities.

At least we're not Detroit.

They're with Her

Without making any other value judgment and confining this strictly to probabilities, if these uprising fomenters win, so will Hillary. [More]

Their names will be remembered for that.

And if Trump wins, I expect his "Republican" opponents to be in the vanguard of those loudly fighting his every move. They'll be looking for any excuse to initiate impeachment proceedings, to prove themselves "right" and to reset things back to the Quigley paradigm.

No Fly, No Buy, No Appeal

"No district court of the United States or court of appeals of the United States shall have jurisdiction to consider the lawfulness or constitutionality of this section..." [More]
Alan Korwin notes "The people proposing this 17-page tyrannical travesty should be removed from office."

Jeff Flake certainly has lived down to his name.

One question that remains unasked: Why are so many people on the "no fly list" even in this country in the first place?

Brexit Blues

I was riveted to Sky News live reporting last night, watching the back-and-forth in the UK's referendum on whether it would remain in or leave the EU. The surprisingly high turnout kept going back and forth around the 50% mark, but eventually it got to where the separatists were consistently maintaining their slight lead and a pollster noted for the "stay" faction to win, it would need to perform better in remaining districts than projections indicated.

This was a contest between a "progressive"/business alliance and nationalists, similar in many ways to what we see happening here, where "conservative leadership" wants the same globalist open borders as the Democrats. The people who voted to leave want their country back.

I believe sentiments are stronger here. This looks like a bellwether for November.

Expired FFL Raises Further Questions about ATF Oversight of Gun Store

“There is a gap a mile wide,” the legal source said about how documentation discovered to date fails to account for how the name on the FFL was changed. Yet the store continued to operate and continued to receive gun shipments under the “new” FFL, all under close ATF oversight. [More]
It looks like ATF issued a license they knew they had no legal authority to do, for reasons we will continue to explore in upcoming installments.

If you missed part one, about ATF's related banking irregularities, you can read it here.
