This might be the time to ask. I was cleaning/fixing my registry last week since my computer seemed to be running slow (it had been a while since the last clean up). Anyway, I was browsing through the list of items removed and there was a registry key entry that said USDOJ. Anyone out there care to elaborate?

I don't have a website for them to visit so I chalked it up to maybe having visited a DOJ website myself. I'm not a computer wiz so I really don't know what I am looking at.

Yeah, those dangerous extremists who are Americans above all other political considerations. They can't be having that shit. What if it caught on...........again.

Anon,

I ran my McAfee Anti-Virus Scan. Just before running the scan, I selected all the options in the Security Center (basically told it to scan for everything that could even remotely be considered harmful or spyware). The report came back when it was finished and one of the items listed was a registry key (best I can remember, that is how it was identified) with a long name that included "DOJ.GOV" or "USDOJ.GOV" Right now, I couldn't tell you where the file or "item" was originally detected, but McAfee removed it.

I wish I was a computer whiz right about now so I could give you more than that.
