A grandfather was arrested in a dawn raid and held in a police cell for six hours - for using a single swear word in front of a council official. [More]Enquiring minds want to know who the "official" was, so that we can perhaps send him sentiments of our own--along with an invitation to do something about it.
Ware claims that certain Chicago Police Officers have a history of making false arrests because they get overtime pay to attend court, "regardless of the arrests' validity." [More]So why shouldn't they be able to kidnap you? They're not just "Only Ones," they're Chicago "Only Ones."
An officer accidentally shot himself in the ankle at the Arizona Law Enforcement Academy Monday morning. [More]I suppose if I pointed out that "negligently" might be a better word, or that this is yet one more example of police not being the "Only Ones" professional enough to carry guns, it would all be academic?

[More]Actually, Mike, it's the people who hate guns who introduce force into the equation. They don't want you to have a say in the matter, and they're willing to set state enforcers on you to make it so.
Why, whatever can we do about it? As I reported last month, the Binational Task Force on the United States-Mexico Border thinks reinstituting a ban on semiautomatic firearms here in the U.S. is just the ticket. The theory is, if you restrict choices for honest, peaceable people, you'll reduce options for the corrupt and violent. With respect to the views of the Navy Board for securing the Frigates. The situation of the Army would not admit of a compliance with them, supposing they would Answer the end.
