September Surprise

DIANNE FEINSTEIN WITHHOLDING BRETT KAVANAUGH DOCUMENT FROM FELLOW JUDICIARY COMMITTEE DEMOCRATS [More]
Doesn't that just show you how these destroyers operate? Prosecutors -- and make no mistake, this is a trial in every way that matters -- can't withhold evidence from the defense. If they could, they'd happily prosecute him on something...anything.

She's planning to spring some media "Gotcha" to get a meme started and spread before the "defense" can get a public word in edgewise.  And I wouldn't be surprised to find there's behind-the-scenes blackmail going on right now.

Why am I thinking the most likely scenario will be some unprovable #MeToo allegation about something claimed to have happened years ago that's just being brought up now?

If he withdraws, we'll know the extortionists won.

I'm hoping this fizzles out and proves to be much ado about nothing more than a scare tactic and a smear.

An Unsubstantiated Claim

Most cops are good... [More]
For sure?

Define "good." Define how "most" is determined.

What percentage who haven't done things themselves have nonetheless kept quiet when they saw wrong being committed by their peers?

While all have taken the oath to the Constitution, how many would nonetheless enforce infringements on the right of the people to keep and bear arms, at gunpoint with the threat of lethal force if not immediately obeyed?

Is that "good"?

It's not the first time I've thought French mistaken. Or National Review an outlet for  neocon frauds.

Why Not Turn the Volume Up Instead?

Scalise Responds to Attacks on Susan Collins: Dems Must Condemn 'Violence and Threats From the Left' [More]
Why would they deviate from plays that are working? And if any did decide it politically expedient to feign moderation, who would be dumb enough to believe them?

Why wouldn't we want to see more "normals" having epiphanies?

By Popular Demand

The Founders knew that a straight-up democracy was simply a recipe for mob rule.  [More]
Actually, the mob is just a weapon. The real rule is hardly democratic.

A Conservative Estimate

The actual number of illegal aliens appears to be far larger than previously understood [More]
So whose pants are on fire?

And remember: Hate speech is not free speech!

Wrong Thinking

Frontpagemag.com's editor Jamie Glazov banned from Facebook on 9/11 for writing about how to prevent another 9/11 [More]
And the thing is, his assessment did not go far enough.

Ah well, I guess some things are best not to think about at all

Right, Keeper?

We're the Only Ones Rubbed the Wrong Way Enough

There's nothing magnificent about these seven. A crew of unscrupulous cops was thrown behind bars Wednesday for protecting a prostitution and gambling ring — where the officers, in some cases, received sex and massages for their invaluable assistance, authorities said. [More]
Seven? So there were only a few glad apples?

An Unprecedented Event

Authorities say a dead hiker whose body was recovered this week was likely killed by a cougar, marking the first fatal attack by a wild cougar in Oregon and the second in the Pacific Northwest this year. [More]
But it does happen. And entering their habitats unprepared can be fatally presumptuous.

School-destroying fires are rare, too, but that doesn't mean they don't need sprinklers and alarms.

Catch-22

California tells NRA to stop selling insurance policy [More]
But...but...but...

Nothing to See Here

FBI and Blackhawk choppers: National Solar Observatory shuts over mysterious ‘security issue’ [More]
Has "It" escaped containment?  Is something going on with the Sun that would cause mass panic if revealed because there aren't enough underground extinction event survival facilities? Are invaders on their way? Will the true rulers finally reveal themselves?

Jeez, those are plotlines for four separate scripts!

Hey, in the absence of any information, what do they expect from people? It's not like "the government" has given us reason to trust its cover stories in the past.

Oh, no problem -- honest. RT-- figures. It looks like those damn Russians are just trying to stir up internal conflict again.

What's the Big Deal?

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) must block the sale of a Mexican radio station over concerns the station will be used for Chinese information warfare, according to Sen. Ted Cruz. [More]
I thought broadcasting cultural Marxist propaganda to serve the interests of foreign and domestic enemies was the industry norm...?

We're the Only Ones No Longer in Suspense Enough

Suspended chief of North County Police Cooperative resigns [More]
Why was he suspended and why is he so cooperative?

Ah well, the important thing is he's off to help a Democrat prosecute others.

We're the Only Ones On Call Enough

Police called to double shooting near MetroLink station [More]
Wait a minute... what about the bicycle racks?

All You Need to Know

Keep hoping for that breast cancer relapse to happen any day now. [More]
Think a "conservative" could get by with that against a "progressive"? And think the same wouldn't be wished for anyone who shares Laura Ingraham's concerns for the direction this country is being herded?

They hate you and they want you to die. Horribly, painfully and preferably in terror.

Remember, that comment was moderated and approved. The article's no better. Neither is her "brother," who sounds like he has real personal issues that he desperately needs to have validated.

LEAKED VIDEO: Google Leadership’s Dismayed Reaction to Trump Election [More]
So tell me the repression we're seeing now against non-"progressive" content isn't a direct result of them striking back out of hatred, revenge and fear.

A 'Commonsense Gun Safety' Expert

Woman who wrote 'How to Murder Your Husband' arrested for allegedly murdering her husband [More]
He was "shot to death."

Curious, how before it all went down she was ridiculing NRA...

[Watch]
And look at what she shares:

Well this is certainly a surprise:

I suggest those interested in learning more get over there and take screenshots before Facebook takes the account down -- like they did with this other paragon of "progressivism."

That ensures independently checking someone's background becomes problematic, and all you'll learn about such creatures is what the "authorities" and gatekeepers find in their interests to share.

Anybody see any "mainstream news"outlets profiling ol' Murder She Wrote with this information?

And how could I let this go without this?

Armed Police Protection for Kamala Harris, the Height of Elitist Hypocrisy

What’s not unprecedented are gun-grabbing politicians who would deny you the right to protect yourself and your family while using tax plunder to make sure their safety is taken care of. Their security detachments can even go armed in so-called “gun-free zones.” At least they have that in common with private criminals. [More]
Kamala the Red thinks she's better than you. Does "guns for me but not for thee" get more "in your face" than this?

No Fools Like Old Fools

Beto O’Rourke is awakening a grassroots movement in Texas — one that’s led by gray-haired, once-loyal Democrats who are aggressively working to end decades of their own political dormancy in Texas. [More]
Once useful idiot, always a useful idiot.

They were douche bags in college, too.

The Laugh-Free Zone Safe Space

NBC said it canceled Tuesday’s appearance “out of sensitivity to our audience.” [More]
Time was, truly progressive (no quotation marks) comedy was able to rip through those sensitivities. That's what made it funny.

Anybody remember the Joan Baez send-up from NatLamp's "Radio Dinner"? If you wonder why the album has all but disappeared, it's because no one would dare reissue it -- and the principals would never work in this town again.

This blog's comment entry form clearly says "Keep it on topic" and these irrelevant phony "compliments" posted with an active link to your business employ the same technique I see from all kinds of spammers with questionable motives and potentially hazardous links. Recent cases in point:

Since your spammer selected old posts, my guess is you're trying to game SEO by seeding your links around. I don't put the considerable work into this to give you a publicity platform, and I doubt this is the only place you (or whomever you've contracted with) have tried this, hoping that an odd-hours entry with no moderation would let you lamprey off the efforts of others.

Is that close?

In any case, my incentive for doing business with an outfit like Outdoor Limited that engages in such deceptive practices is now extremely limited, especially since it would entail giving you credit card information.

Do feel free to leave a comment that's on topic this time.
