Cure for the Common Collectivist
“If I have a cold I can’t buy Sudafed without ID, but I can walk into any gun shop and walk out with enough bullets to arm a small army without showing any kind of ID,” Simon said in a joint release. [More]Yeah. If she's trying to cure a cold with a bullet, she really only needs one.
I'll even spring for a nasal inhaler.
And yes, I noticed these idiots have no clue that a bullet is a cartridge component. Who better to ban shoulder things that go up?
It figures oath-breaking former "Only One" Adams is a driving force.
"A dozen bullets every three months"...?
Heck, that'll give us more than enough practice to be competitive with New York's finest!
And here's my favorite part:
Penalty for the violation of this law would also be increased from a Class B misdemeanor, or not more than three months in jail and not more than $500 in fines, to a Class E felony, or up to four years in prison with a minimum of one year.Who wants to chip in for more complimentary inhalers?

Firearms Guide
I just got an email from the people behind this resource inviting a review. [More]
As what motivates me ain't the hardware, all I'm really prepared to do is pass on the link and invite you to explore it on your own and decide how useful it is to you.
One suggestion I have for all "for profit" gun-related ventures: Let your customers know how you are a leader in defending RKBA.
A Sad Commentary
I also find it very disturbing that gun owners in North Liberty feel they have the right to carry their guns ... [More]I guess the irony of that statement doesn't occur to her.

You Only Want Guns Because You're a Racist
Current gun debate has roots in slave revolt [More]I guess we're now supposed to be intimidated or something, lest the collectivists call us ugly names.
We know about the racist roots of gun control, and the Deacons for Defense, and Reagan's Mulford Act betrayal and a whole lot more, no thanks to Opposite Day "progressives" intent on making sure Massah's plantation remains a monopoly of violence.
Curious how she justifies it all by citing "Only One" abuses.

We're the Only Ones Impatient Enough
Exception to the Waiting Period for Purchasing and Delivering Handguns: Exempting the purchase of a handgun by a qualified law enforcement officer or a qualified retired law enforcement officer from the 3-day waiting period, etc. [More]Why should we have to wait? We're special!
I understand concealed carry permit holders and those trading in another handgun have already been exempted. I guess the real question is, why any citizen would be subjected to prior restraint. Until that's fixed, I'm not inclined to be sympathetic to fast pass line cuts based on special government privileges and immunities.
And then there's this:
Concealed Weapon or Firearm Licensees: Requiring a concealed weapon or firearm licensee to provide certain information and display the license and proper identification when approached by a first responder; requiring firearm course instructors to maintain records attesting to the use of live fire with specified firearms and ammunition by students in his or her physical presence; requiring that a license be suspended or revoked upon a second or subsequent violation of such requirement, etc.So we see an "Only Ones" bill from a "law and order Republican," and a harassment of "law-abiding" gun owners bill from a monopoly of violence Democrat.
Why does the phrase "pincer movement" come to mind, along with a warning to watch your flanks?

Wicked Problems
By joining with computer intelligence, humans could expand upon their own abilities to create 'multidimensional collaborative networks' ... [More]They're making it harder and harder to dismiss some of those issuing prophetic warnings as "end timers" and cultists...
Safe Spaces
Demand for ‘panic rooms’ growing [More]Don't worry! A hireling with a gun will risk his life to come save you!
As for keeping the client list secret: Cities require building permits, and you'd better hope the guy isn't picking up day laborers outside of Home Depot.
What Difference Does It Make?
As long as the Republicans are allowed to get away with fielding a piece of political drek like Rick Snyder, there is no incentive for them to ever change.
So what if a Democrat ends up taking the seat?
So what if a Democrat ends up taking the seat?
Halfway Measures
David Mark Williams, a farmer in Halfway, Ore., described guns as “a tool. If you’re hunting or living a rural lifestyle, you’re going to have a firearm.” But Williams, who came to Washington this fall with MoveOn.org to meet with members of both parties, said he resigned his NRA membership after its president opposed stricter gun laws in the aftermath of the 2012 mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School. [More]Yeah, present a Prozi as a typical "reasonable" gun owner. Using MoveOn shills is an old damn trick, one WaPo is happy to exploit. If I were a gun dealer and this gunkapo came in, I'd tell him to get the hell out of my store.
The bottom line is, nothing will change in terms of reducing "gun violence" because they're dealing with the wrong end of the spectrum. And while there will definitely be new burdens on the "law-abiding," there may also be an unintended consequence that Obama's legal fine tooth combers never thought of. I don't want to say any more just yet, lest they sidestep a pitfall. Depending on what he imposes, I'll either say more about that later or I won't.
