Sorry I Brought it Up...

I apologize for pissing off some Indiana gun owners by writing that visible, coordinated and organized grassroots leadership is needed to oust Richard Lugar. [More]

I Wish I Could Say "Unbelievable"

The problem is, it's totally believable. [Read]

Oregon gun group says rights delayed are rights denied

The utter gall of those "officials" is almost unbelievable and the implications are intolerable. They have posted a message on their “challenge line” telling callers they “will be delayed at least a month and don't even bother to leave a message before a month has gone by since they will NOT call you back.” [More]
Today's Gun Rights Examiner report notes you can't only not place a call, you can't even leave a damn message.

Vanderboegh Medical Update

He's still trying to move things along and they're still talking about releasing him tomorrow.  So don't send any more cards to the hospital.

How Guns Are Found at Mexican Crime Scenes

Any questions?

This is from back in 2009. Be sure and check out the grenades in the video. I'm sure they straw-purchased those from a U.S. gun shop.

An Unsupported Conclusion

If Trayvon Martin had been approached by an officer who identified himself as such, rather than a strange man who jumped out of an SUV and chased him, he would almost certainly be alive today. [More]

We're the Only Ones Taking It Off Enough

Officer Ingo Mayer pulled the men's Cadillac over in December 2005 for no apparent reason and then handcuffed and detained Lucas.

Mayer then undid Lucas's belt buckle, causing his pants to fall down to his ankles and shook his boxers against his genitals after pulling them down half way... [More]
I wonder what disability caused ol' Ingo to take early retirement?

The Ultimate Outcome

These people cannot be reasoned with. They feel, they want – and they hate. Your quaint notions about property rights being the essential foundation of human rights are like the Latin scrolls of Cicero trampled underfoot by the hordes of the Germanic chieftan Odoacer as Rome slipped forever into that long good night. The ultimate outcome depends on us.

We're the Only Ones Going to the Dogs Enough

Officers tell us they fatally shot the boxer to prevent it from attacking officers. The pregnant chihuahua was caught in the line of fire and was also killed. [More]
Thank goodness the police chief reviewed it to determine if it was justified!

Lyin'tific American

To be effective, a new set of institutions would have to be imbued with heavy-handed, transnational enforcement powers. [More]
Transnational enforcers? Oh, he means targets.

These scientific types use such big words.

So...Gary Stix: Will you back up that heavy hand with a rifle, or just demand that others do?

I guess being an ivory tower conjecturer instead of a lab guy, observing physical reactions isn't your strong suit. Unless it's the physical reaction fantasizing about ruthless brutes in jackboots evidently gives you...

This Day in History: March 22

On March 22, Brig. Gen. Alexander Leslie was leading a British force toward Dayton Hall and Middleton Place. At the bridge crossing at St. Andrew's Creek, they were fired upon by some Patriot artillery. At 7:00 pm, Capt. Ewald took a small detachment and crossed the creek. When they arrived at the Patriot position, they found that the Patriots had abandoned it. They spotted the retreating Patriots and attacked them. A small skirmish ensued, with both sides withdrawing after a few casualties on the British side. [More]
