Speaking of "Inane"
I can't help but wonder if the reference to "automatic weapons" reflects ignorance or intent. [Read]
Today's Five-Minute Activism Task
- If you haven't already, read yesterday's GRE so you understand the issue.
- If you haven't already, go to the Grassley contact link and send him the message to oppose confirmation of Kenneth J. Gonzales for New Mexico U.S.District Court Judge due to the pattern of misconduct uncovered --and cited by the presiding judge -- in his office's prosecution of the Reese family.
I hope you decide to join me and to recruit others to do so as well. Seeing what the Reese family has been subjected to, it would be inexcusable to allow their persecutor to have even more power over more families, especially when we know Obama is counting on it. Please don't let this be another "Profile in Apathy."
The Finest Results Money Can Buy
Missouri's lax gun laws have led to an increase in gun violence throughout the state, according to a new study by a Johns Hopkins University professor. [Read]That wouldn't be anti-citizen defense fanatic Daniel Webster, who engineers his "studies" to support pre-desired "results," would it?
It would?
Of course, there are some relevant and essential questions that, naturally, have been wholly unaddressed.

An Unfulfilled Dream
An inescapable truism: The citizen disarmament hive insects would rather he'd be able to keep his promise than for her to be armed. [Read]

And When You Grow Up, You Can Be Just Like Us
A 16-year-old Cypress Lake High School student, who wrestled a loaded revolver away from a teen threatening to shoot, is being punished. [More]That's one hell of a lesson these "educators" are teaching young people.
I'm just surprised the "Authorized Journalist" reporting this didn't call the hero kid a "vigilante."

Too Little Too Late
This reminds me of a criminal telling a jury he wishes he could undo all the harm he's caused. And his excuses are BS, too. [Read]

The Halls of Higher Learing
My, how very "progressive." It's what commies do. [Read]
Fortunately, it looks like a free market workaround may be developing.
I can't say the idea of unemployed "authorized academics" bothers me all that much.

Fixing for Fudds
Boyd asked Senate Democrats about Brophy’s concerns. They sent her a statement saying an amendment dealing with thats [sic] issue is currently being drafted and will be presented in a committee hearing Monday. [More]Way to help them with divide-and-conquer.
So now that they're exempted, what's their incentive to get mad as hell and join the rest of their fellow gun owners?
I hate it when "our side" helps theirs bullet-proof a bill, making it palatable to some. I wish they'd stop pointing out "flaws" to be fixed and let the idiot regressives reach exceed their grasp and piss off as many "sportsmen" as possible.
This Day in History: March 2
On March 2, 1781, the American light troops under Colonel Otho Holland Williams of Maryland and Lieutenant Colonel Henry "Lighthouse Harry" Lee of Virginia engaged the British light troops near Clapp's Mill on Beaver Creek. The Americans attempted to lure the British forces, under Lieutenant Colonel Banastre Tarleton, from their camp near the mill (almost one mile southeast of this spot) into an ambush on Alamance Creek where cavalry units and reinforcements lay in waiting. In heavy fighting, at least seventeen British soldiers and eight American militiamen died. [More]
