An Impromptu Appearance
I didn't have time to pre-announce this yesterday because Armed American Radio host Mark Walters called me literally moments before the broadcast went live to ask if I could come on and discuss my McCain piece. If you want you can listen to the archived program.
It's Moving to Meatspace
No one thought the enemy would be satisfied just shutting down our ability to earn a living on the internet, did they? [More]
Of course they don't want you to be able to feed yourself and your family. They want you dead. The demands that you be disarmed ought to be all the clue any of us need.
Because his Facebook page is disabled, I can't independently determine anything about the man being scrutinized, or if he did or said anything that would make concerns by reasonable people justifiable. But if affiliation with SPLC-smeared groups on social media and belief in the Founders'intent behind the Second Amendment is all the evidence needed to jeopardize a man's employment, then we're getting dangerously close to a place we won't be allowed to just walk away from.
I'm proudly "guilty" on both Oath Keepers and Three Percenter counts. Which I guess means you'll need to decide whether or not you can be hurt by any affiliation with me...
Weaker Dick's Disappoints
Dick’s Sporting Goods Inc. DKS -2.17% said weaker sales of Under Armour Inc. apparel and a decision to pull back from the hunting business dragged on the retailer’s latest quarterly results.[More]If you have any gun-owning friends who know about what they did and still shop there, they don't deserve your friendship.

Catch and Release
Judge Emilio Chavez ruled that he could not keep the three in custody because prosecutors missed a 10-day limit for an evidentiary hearing to establish probable cause for the neglect charges. [More]Can you imagine letting a man-eating tiger out of its cage on a technicality?
That said, they either had evidence or they didn't -- or they did and dropped the ball.

Self Defense Über Alles
I like the way this guy talks and his plain-speaking presentation style. I'm going to find occasion to use "She don't know 'Sic 'em' from 'Come here.'"
Now somebody needs to get Uber to fire the policy violator.

Dodge City! Blood in the Halls Over Fender Benders!
The introduction of unqualified personnel with guns raises the likelihood of a tragic accident, or potentially catastrophic confusion during an emergency. [More]You have to be "qualified" to have your rights recognized? And only the "Only Ones" are? Really?
Here's the thing--if they're not qualified there, they're not qualified anywhere. And Herring's working on that, of course.

Protecting the Blood Supply
House Democrats — almost the full caucus — are pressing Education Secretary Betsy DeVos to scrap any plans to promote the arming of teachers in the name of protecting students. [More]That's because school shootings work to their political advantage.
And note how slaughterer enablers are characterized as "gun reform proponents"?

We're the Only Ones Surviving Enough
The Oklahoma police officer who shot and killed unarmed black motorist Terence Crutcher in 2016 is now teaching fellow police officers how to “survive” after shooting people in the line of duty. [More]If you shot an unarmed black motorist, what do you think the chances are civil authority's biggest concern would be your emotional wellbeing?

By Hook or By Crook
Federal Court may alter NC congressional districts for 2018 election [More]The people trying to start a civil war must believe it will never reach their doors.

Slopping the Hogs
NYCHA workers transformed a Bronx housing project into their own personal sex club — engaging in wild, boozy orgies inside offices, the groundskeepers shop and even empty apartments, sources said Monday. “[It happened on] overtime, during working hours, after working hours, any day or any time of the day”... [More]New Yorkers deserve exactly the government of corrupt and abusive perverts and pigs they enable. I'm really starting to wonder if the Sullivan Act isn't consistent with another law...

I Suspect a Bit of Both
So is "conservative" Jonah Goldberg a calculating subversive or just a useful idiot? [More]
I wonder if he'd like to take the challenge...

The Guttenberg Press
Parkland parent says Wells Fargo’s conduct on guns and marijuana is dishonest [More]It's not my fault. It's not the bank's fault. I will not let my children be slaughtered because the obscene infringements you demand enabled a monster to succeed.

It's Never Enough
The gun wasn't bought in Florida and Scott just got done selling gun owners out -- but now he's a gun lobby shill? [More]
That punk O'Malley knows he's lying. He also knows his supporters either don't know that or do and don't care, because all he's got in his corner are idiots and frauds, which in hisneck of the woods make up the majority.
Oh look: He also knows what's best for Texas. And beyond...
It figures he's never worked a non-parasite job in his life.

We're the Only Ones Toyed with Enough
Police in Paraguay Discover Their Rifles Have Been Replaced With Toy Replicas [More]You don't think any "restrictive" gun policy enforcers may have been involved, do you?
[Via Jess]
Set on Stun
Perhaps more stunningly, about a third of them occurred in two countries: Brazil and the United States. [More]Perhaps even more stunning than that is Brazil's gun laws are "categorised as restrictive" with "private possession of handguns (pistols and revolvers) ... prohibited, with only narrow exemptions..."
So what's your point, PopSi? Except to be agenda-driven douches? Again.
That ought to please your masters from the same parent conglomerate that owns Field & Stream...

You Can't Stop the Signal
Man Behind 3D Gun Files Spoils The Left's Celebration Over Ban With Major Announcement - Wilson will simply sell the files he's been unconstitutionally banned from posting openly. [More]From here.
What do you figure a fair price is, to include processing, storage medium, mailers, postage and appreciation for value received?
A 'Pro-Life Democrat'
And remember, with "progressives," every day is Opposite Day. [More]
He's also a "pro-gun Democrat"!

We're the Only Ones Inadequately Professional Enough
“Even though I have not found where either officer violated any policies or procedures, his demeanor does cause me discord with our standard of community policing. I expect the utmost professionalism out of my officers at all times." [More]I like the part where Dean asks how he can know Reynolds is a real police officer.
I don't suppose his lawyer will ever hear about the Fauxnly Ones files...?

Key Figures
Jobs are the key to stemming KC’s violence epidemic [More]I don't suppose requiring prospective employees to be ethical and trainable assets instead of liabilities and physical dangers is too much to ask? How about just not being sociopaths liable to attack the supervisor or coworkers over the slightest subjective "provocation"?
How many of those committing the violence KC is looking to stem do you suppose qualify, or is expecting minimal standards also objectionable?
[Via bondmen]
Does It Get More Inhumane?
Deported 4 times, KC-area Mexican man with violent past faces 6 years in prison [More]What...?
They're going to separate him from his family...???

Half the Equation
Although England’s 1689 Bill of Rights recognized the right to possess defensive arms, that right is now a dead letter, as are many of the others enumerated in that document. So today, Great Britain has trapped itself in a vicious cycle of rising crime and intensifying repression. [More]Good but incomplete analysis... With neocon interests like NRO and Cato, there's no mention of "migration" factors that make the rise in violence inevitable.
They do that here, too, and actually go the next step to dismissing concerns ands promoting more. You'd think one of them could take the challenge and pass.

Well That Might Explain Some Things
Feds Scramble after Las Vegas Shooter’s Girlfriend Lists FBI as Place of Employment on Loan Application; ‘She Might have Been an Asset’ [More]I need to see more documentation before taking this at face value, but if it bears out, it explains some of the recalcitrance. If so, we'll see if this lawsuit can bear any fruit, provided the judge is curious, too.
‘I was Treated Like a Piece of Meat’
And your point is...? [More]
You were "pressured"? Guess what you were free to do but chose not to?
Haggling over price, are we?
One Question
Who is this talentless asshole? [Watch]
Make it two questions: Why is he appropriating an accent?
"Comments are disabled," naturally.
In the Aggregate
Join The Gun Feed’s Patreon page…[More]As I've said before:
It's a really good aggregator. And with routine suppression from news feeds, the dominance of "mainstream media" agenda spin and social media bias, we need all the channels of truth dissemination we can get.
We're the Only Ones Making Sure Enough
The release says police told the man to lower his weapon, but the man refused before shooting and killing himself. According to police, an officer then accidentally pulled the trigger of his gun three times. They say one of those bullets hit the man who had just taken his life. [More]Damn dead people never listen.
‘FG42’ Profiles Revolutionary, Near-Forgotten Classic in Words and Pictures
What happened up to and including postwar designer shortsightedness and the renewed interest with SMG Guns reproductions is recounted in a painstakingly researched and attributed narrative supported by unique historical and original contemporary photographs. “FG42” fulfills John’s goal, in his own words, for “writing a story about a firearm longer than the 2,000 or 2,500 words allowed most firearm articles in magazines.” [More]I don't talk all that much about guns per se because I'm not a hardware guy. Jeff John is, and he's a superb writer, photographer and artist to boot.
As Florida Goes
Democrats, meanwhile, rejected the moderate Graham in favor of Gillum, a Bernie Sanders-backed progressive who championed "Medicare-for-all" single-payer health insurance. His win highlights a Democratic Party embracing youth, energy and progressive policy stances. [More]This will be a great chance to demoralize immature collectivists who believe all they have to do is be indignant and obnoxious about everything and they'll get adoration from the media and everything they demand. That is, provided gun owners do their part.
Republican DeSantis got an "A" from Fairfax, which backed his primary opponent with an "A+." What he got from GOA is unclear, as they have apparently taken down their simple to grok candidate grades and replaced them with a hard-to-follow "gun votes" matrix lumping all states and reps together, so that by the time you scroll down and find DeSantis, you have no idea what the header categories are (or what they really mean). Maybe I missed the grades page, and if I did all I can say is I used to be able to find it with ease under the home page "Resources" tab.
KISS, guys. With the importance of the midterms, this just baffles me. I shouldn't have to use the Wayback Machine to find out that in 2016 you gave the guy an "A." Most gun owners don't even know that resource exists.
There's one other resource for an inextricably entwined issue of vital importance to gun owners -- not that anyone besides me and a few others ever even mention it. DeSantis gets an "A+" from NumbersUSA. Predictably, the Beltway access über alles boys favored the guy with the mediocre "C+".
UPDATE: Oh no he didn't! Jeez guy, really? Congratulations on cluelessly creating an exploitable meme that's going to follow you around the rest of this campaign and beyond -- and be used to smear your supporters.
McSally Forth
McSally had 51.4 percent, or 196,452 votes, to Ward's 28.6 percent, or 109,105 votes, and Arpaio's 20 percent, or 76,517 votes, with 58 percent of precincts reporting. [More]Now we get to see if all that "hardline" campaign immigration talk was just that.
I don't know what the hell Arpaio or his voters were thinking to sink Ward's chances like that when he predictably had none.
The Most Busted Name in News Redux
CNN, Credibly Accused of Lying to its Audience About a Key Claim in its Blockbuster Cohen Story, Refuses to Comment [More]Say, aren't they the ones complaining about all that "fake news" and then lying about it?
This is getting to be a regular thing around here.
