Ohio ‘die-in’ protestors show ignorance of law and more

What better strategy could there be to overcome a predator's natural chase-and-kill instincts than to behave exactly like prey? [More]

Today’s Gun Rights Examiner report notes those who childishly play dead have no right to impose their ignorance on adults who work at staying alive.

Civilian Preservation Teams

Oath Keepers is instructing its 30,000 members nation-wide to form up special teams and sub-teams in each Oath Keepers chapter, at the town and county level, modeled loosely on the Special Forces “A Team” (Operational Detachment A ) model, and for a similar purpose: to be both a potential operational unit for community security and support during crisis, but also, as mission #1, to serve as training and leadership cadre, to assist in organizing neighborhood watches, organizing veterans halls to provide community civil defense, forming County Sheriff Posses, strengthening existing CERT, volunteer fire, search-and-rescue, reserve deputy systems, etc., and eventually to assist in forming and training town and county militias (established by official act of town and county elected representatives). They share their plan to do this.

Attention to Sears Automotive Management

Dear Sears,

What the hell is this?
David, I thought you might be interested in my experience getting new tires at Sears today. They have WIFI so I thought I would do a little shopping since it is payday. Turn out they block Midway and Brownell's because of "Weapons." Ironically, they don't block Dick's, which also sells weapons and has a store in the same mall.  See the attached screen shots.

I mentioned my dissatisfaction to the salesman, but he was pretty dismissive. Since the tires were already installed there wasn't much I could do. I do plan to contact management and express my dismay and explain to them that next time I need service I'll be checking their WIFI access first. No access to "Weapons," no business for Sears.

They sure have fallen a long way:

We'll see if the clerk who receives my contact form inquiry is smart enough to forward it to someone smart enough to rectify things.

That's their phone number, by the way.  They've got a hell of a lot of nerve REQUIRING it just to send them a form email.

Y'know, they really don't look like they can afford to p!$$ too many customers off.

Fast and Furious Case Delay REPUBLICAN'S Fault

Right. It's not like Obama has any influence on whether or not continuing resolutions to keep things up and running will be allowed. [More]

Years of stonewalling and who gets blamed?  "Progressives" rely on their tortured bizarrro "logic" being so maddening and so parroted that rational people just throw up their hands in frustration.

I trust no one wonders why the judge would take this position?

Norquisling Accuses Cruz

Really? [More]

Well I accuse Norquisling. Fricking worthless "gungrabber Republican-firster" NRA Director...

So many damn RINOs in his Big Tent there's no room left for the elephants.

True Enough

Why does he suppose the Founders limited "democracy" to selecting Members of the House of Representatives...? [More]

Jesse? Al?

Professional "neighborhood watch volunteers" gunned down an unarmed woman of color whom Obama could claim as an appearance-based daughter...

When can we expect the outraged protests? And will the Panthers offer a "dead or alive" reward?

It sure was instructive watching all the lockdown panic yesterday.  I'm sure no shortage of interested parties took notice of how little it takes to create a distraction.

UPDATE: Workman's take.

A Commie's Lament

Leave it to a "progressive" to regret that we're not Chicom enough. [More]

Mixed-Up Messages

An equal-opportunity offender, Clancy was a gun-collector and NRA supporter...[More]
Oh how cute. An "anti-gun male."

Ewwww, Benjamin Ivry--if you're gonna wear one of these things, you could at least keep it from popping out when you get worked up...

Bagel brain.

The Daily Californian

Usually I can’t wait for guys like Tom Clancy to die. [More]
I'd say that tells us more about Meg Ellison and her fellow "progressives" than anyone else.

Everybody remember that scene from "Independence Day"?

No wonder the mantra of the antis demands that when confronted by aggressors, we shouldn't resist, but instead "Just give them what they want."

Precisely the Problem

Almost all voters -- 88 percent -- say “the government is in charge of the people.”  That includes 83 percent of Democrats, 88 percent of independents and 94 percent of Republicans.

Only 8 percent feel “the people are in charge of the government.” [More]
And those are the ones thee "progressives" need to portray as racist extremists.

What I don't get is how anyone could admit government is in charge of them and not dedicate themselves to reestablishing proper control.

Change of Heart

On ATSNtv's "Stop the Threat" tonight... [Details]

Within Reason

"I want to be able to wear what I want to wear within reason," she said. [More]
Sorry, sweetheart. Look at the authoritarian "progressive" morons you're forced to deal with.

And On That Day, She Should Be Able to Buy a Gun

Brewer is being kept at a state psychiatric hospital until psychiatrists determine she's no longer mentally ill. [More]
Oh, and when will that be?

Remember, let her out and she'll have access to box cutters, fuel oil, fertilizer, gasoline and matches, all cited as weapons of choice in the country's three highest-toll mass murders.

Some things are broken and cannot be fixed.

That's what makes the entire "prohibited persons" concept such a sick and useless joke. If they're demonstrably violently defective, letting them go about unrestrained in the general population is analogous to setting loose self-guiding bombs that can go off at the slightest jostle.

Anyone who can't be trusted with a gun can't be trusted without a custodian.  That's just the way it is.

This Day in History: October 4

I have the Honour to agree with your Excellency in opinion, that it is reasonable, that the Articles of Rent of the Hotel, Payment of Couriers, Postage of Letters, Salaries of Clerks, Stationary for the Bureau, and Feasts and Illuminations made upon publick occasions, should be deemed Expences of the States. Indeed otherwise it will be impossible, for American Ministers to live, in any such manner as is expected of them both by Europeans and Americans. [More]
