Intelligence Report on Russian Hacking

I just got this and now need to find the time to read it. [More]

It'll be tomorrow before I can do any more.

That's One Way to Deal with Jehova's Witnesses

I'm going to reserve judgment until more is known. [More]

If I felt in danger, I don't think I'd be inclined to go outside unless there were compelling circumstances.

Speculation of Civil War over Brexit Leaves Open the Question of ‘How?’

No doubt feelings are intense, and no doubt the UK’s overwhelmingly Eurocentric leadership — and a substantial percentage of the citizenry (subjectry?) — have upped the odds of kingdom-wide uprisings. But chances are acts of insurrection won’t originate from hard-working people being squeezed out of their ancestral homeland. It will more likely initiate from within the foreign replacement population being brought in and embedded by globalists intent on erasing national borders.
When it does, the questions for people like Ms. Pugh would be “How will you resist?” and “With what?” [More]
Would you? Would what they were fighting for (and against) make a difference?

Agreed

WarOnGuns Correspondent Florida Guy calls this "The most media-buried self defense story of 2016 !" [More]

I just did a quick check for that time period, and if it was posted on here, can't locate it.

Like Shooting Ducks in a Baggage Area

A gunman opened fire Friday afternoon at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport in Florida, shooting at least nine people and killing one of them, Broward County officials said. [More]

A Procedural Formality

Big deal. That's because  subpoenas expire at the end of every Congress. You did the same things last year and the year before, too, and made ... what real progress?  What are you going to do differently this time, besides issue a rah-rah tweet to make people think you're aggressively pursuing justice?

How about issuing subpoenas to Kevin O'Reilly and Hope MacAllister for starters? They've ducked Oversight and the OIG for far too long.

How about finding out what role State played under Hillary?

Trump's in office now, (with almost no thanks to you) so you have your chance.  He even promised to do what he can to help.

How about giving us cause to do something besides call in Fletcher?

We're the Only Ones Renaming Enough

The new sheriif uses different terms for undocumented immigrants. He calls them "guests." [Watch]
You mean for "illegal aliens"...?

It figures that would be revealed in a story about this traitor taking the oath.

Everybody knows why he won, right? And who pulls his strings?

"Maricopa Strong" my ... eye.  Dance, puppets, dance.

And yeah, I grok some of you don't like Sheriff Joe. May I presume you don't prefer little wooden head here?

We're the Only Ones Punchy Enough

Police officer who was caught on camera punching a woman in the mouth quits the force before he can be sacked [More]
What's always disturbing to me is, even though the other "Only Ones" have distanced themselves and thrown their "brother" under the bus, there are still plenty of comment posters angry the community hero couldn't get away with it.

I recall posting on this when it happened, but can't find it now. I do note this isn't the first time I've used this title.

Because That has Everything to Do with the Racist Chi-Town F-Trump Torturers, Right Piers?

Spare me the self-congratulatory claptrap, Mr President. You’ve done absolutely nothing to stem America’s appalling culture of gun violence that claims 32,000 lives a year. [More]
Piers would rather you be defenseless in any encounter with such young worthies.

He certainly is indicative of a media that just doesn't grok what happened in November and why. I wonder if he knows anybody who drives a truck...

Charlie's Idea of Great R&R

Evidently spamming WarOnGuns is right up there.

This is one big reason why I have that pain in the neck CAPTCHA utility for comments.

The fact that it was not a built-in feature and that some have been fighting this tooth and nail for years tells me pretty much all I need to know.

Everybody has read this, right?

Fast and Spurious

Several of you have sent this to me. Unless the preponderance of guns being recovered have had their serial numbers obliterated, I remain skeptical.

That said, I have tried to investigate several indicators from years back of ATF corruption in Chicago, including a potential connection with the Phoenix Fast and Furious operation, but was never able to put the connections together with enough certainty to take uncorroborated tips forward.

That will still leave state bans in place, but like the antis always say, it's a good first step.

The only link I could find at this time goes to last year's attempt, referred on 02/02/2015 to the Subcommittee on Crime, Terrorism, Homeland Security, and Investigations by the House Judiciary Committee. Let's all keep an eye pealed for the latest version -- although I'm assuming it ought to be pretty similar .
