Basically, Clinton is dictating the terms of surrender to American gun owners and presuming they will just roll over and take it, and that she will have the power to go door-to-door and enforce her demands when a critical mass tells her to go pound sand. If a growing “I will not comply” movement has made an unenforceable dilemma for issuers of edicts in Connecticut, New York, and elsewhere, trying to impose the same thing that doesn’t work locally on a national scale seems the definition of insanity writ large. Hillary’s Desperate ‘Hail Mary’ on Guns Can Be Intercepted and Run Back
Speaking of Fantasies...
Combat Vets Destroy the NRA’s Heroic Gunslinger Fantasy [More]That presupposes such fantasies exist outside the sick minds of juveniles and anti-gun "progressives"-- but I repeat myself. It also presumes to have destroyed something other than the credibility of National Socialist Review with anyone capable of independent thought. Right off the bat, anti-gun male Joshua Holland reveals he's only interested in disparaging better men who don't share in his contemptible self-imposed helplessness.
These bastards would rather that every survivor of a DGU had been killed than armed. Those people know from experience that fantasies and illusions of heroism had nothing to do with anything.
My first thoughts on reading what the "military experts" think the qualifiers ought to be were that we had better disarm most LEOs-- after all, how many times a year -- if that -- are most of them required to requalify, what does that consist of, what percentage do they have to score, and how many do-over attempts do they get?
My next thought was there was a time when one of our greatest military heroes was a guy named Arnold. How would you characterize someone who swore an oath and then betrays what the Founders knew to be necessary to the security of a free State?
Look for the antis to increasingly trot out these partisan operatives, and for the meme to spread like wildfire -- they're absolutely desperate and furious, and the Fourth Estate Fifth Column media has been looking for fresh material to "editorialize" and "report" on.
Peddling Prevarication
Obama peddles gun control fable [More]Lies are easy to get people to swallow if you can hide relevant considerations that refute them. The important thing to remember is they are lies, the withholding of inconvenient facts is intentional, and the reason a lie is being told in the first place is because the person telling it wants to commit as fraud on those he is telling it to.
So naturally, noting the truism that for "progressives," every day is Opposite Day, WaPo's resident Julius Streicher Award candidate, E.J. Dionne, doubles down and accuses anyone of pointing out those disconnects of being a liar.
Playing with Fire
Obviously, if a manufacturer is out there cranking out poorly designed and constructed junk that blows up in your hand or fails to perform when you need it, no one wants to give the guy a pass, including (and especially) gun rights advocates. Similarly, if a car maker puts a model on the streets that bursts into flames as the steering wheel locks and the brakes fail, you’re not going to find a coalition of motorists clamoring to absolve them of all responsibility. But people would righteously object to holding automakers responsible for criminal abuses. If someone steals your car and plows into a school bus, who in their right mind would demand going after the manufacturer’s or the dealer’s deep pockets? What about if someone gets liquored up and ends up smashing into oncoming traffic or running over pedestrians? Should we start bankrupting shareholders and frog-marching CEOs? [More]My latest GUNS Magazine "Rights Watch" column is now online.
Putsch!
Mrs. Clinton plans to push for imposing tighter gun-purchase background checks and banning certain military-style weapons, among other items. [More]Gotta make the world safe for that rapist "husband" of hers...
Hey, she never did answer my questions ... probably because no in-the-tank-for-her "Authorized Journalists" would ever ask them.
I just did again. Feel free to do the same.
Guide for the Reading-Challenged
The organization known as Oath Keepers is demanding a “marketplace response” to Waffle House’s no-gun policy. [More]No, I made it unmistakeably clear, emphasizing the point with a link to my "Who Speaks for Oath Keepers?" piece, that I was, and I quote:
...speaking for myself...And I didn't "demand" -- I simply stated my position, gave my reasons, shared my response and said "I encourage..." and "I hope..." others would follow suit. If individuals in comments happen to agree with me, that's their right and their choice.
So it figures the author then says:
The thing about this issue is at it’s heart, it’s not about guns at all. It is whether or not businesses have the right to deny service to those they choose to.No, because the piece he's featuring never claimed otherwise. The issue is, at its heart, about not doing business with people who impose unacceptable and offensive conditions. If Waffle House or other entities won't offer a guarantee to back their actions, I see no reason to place myself under their imposed conditions.
What kind of "libertarian" would fault that?
Cause for Alarm
Secret Service Targeting of Chaffetz Alarms Lawmakers [More]If they dare do this to the head of Oversight, what more would this lawless government dare do to you and me?
So naturally, the imported subversive du jour and his domestic enemy cheerleaders think Alinsky Rule 5 ridicule is just the ticket.
Just like when the committee was going after gunwalking. There have been untold and ongoing human deaths no one has been held accountable for. And these Opposite Day Prozis have done nothing but derail all efforts to obtain justice for dead Mexicans. The "migrants" are people they fraudulently claim to care about, but in fact, they're just exploiting them for a much deadlier agenda.
There's Gotta Be a Rational Explanation
Of 170 held after Waco biker shooting, all are now out of jail, with none charged in killings [More]Meanwhile, Grassley's staffers continue to ignore their promise.

So Can We Still Give Enablers an "A" Grade on Guns?
Americans will be vastly outnumbered by mass immigration unless Congress hits the “pause” button on issuing new green cards. [More]Thanks goodness this has nothing to do with that "single issue"!
May I Be Blunt?
So the oath was meaningless to you, Emily? [More]
Obviously. Because the oath says you will renounce all foreign allegiances, not become "half an American."
I get why it's in a party's interests, but why is it in any nation's interests to accept this? Or to accept this?

A New Bumper Sticker?
Yeah, I know, inanimate objects can't be blamed. I was just doing a variation on a theme for someone who has more than asked for it.
And I'm reminded that the anti-gun Fourth Estate Fifth Columnists at Newsweek have killed more people than the Umpqua monster.
Putting the Blame Where It Belongs
The father of the Roseburg, Oregon, shooter said he doesn't know where his son got his weapons, and he declined to comment much on his son's mental state, but he was quick to say what he thought was to blame in the deadly college attack: Guns. [More]Yeah, with a great dad like you, what else could it be?

Non-Lethal Lament
By the time he became aware of the shooting, a SWAT team had already responded. [More]So yeah, he did the rational thing and did not insert himself into the fluid dynamics of an ongoing law enforcement operation, where he would have become an immediate target. Only Media Masochists who willingly submit to this headcase would fondle themselves at the prospect of a different outcome.
Anti-gun males -- how pathetic.

Florida Alert
On Tuesday, Oct 6th, at 9am the House Criminal Justice Subcommittee will hear the Open Carry and Strict Scrutiny bill. Committee members need to hear from you now. [More]If you're from Florida, let them hear from you. If you're not from Florida, tell every gun owner you know who is.
Survey Says...
The Monday Poll: Stopping mass shootings [More]I have a problem with the exception in question 2, as there are not only plenty of non-violent "felons" who are so classified because they have run afoul of citizen disarmament edicts, but it also goes contrary to the inescapable truism. That in turn gets into the "Enforce existing gun laws" deception, one perpetrated this time by "leaders" on "our side," and which ought to be restated as "Enforce existing Intolerable Acts" just to put things in proper perspective.
What did Mr. Pynchon observe about such manipulation tactics?
That said, go ahead and give the editorial board reason to regret asking in the first place -- because right now, it looks like things are skewed in the wrong direction, and they will crow if that continues.

"A Moderate Well Armed Owner"
Comment left at my last AmmoLand piece:
JohnC says: Talk about knee jerk, and stupid narrow minded jackasses, you all are. O’Reille gives a talk supporting gun ownership and you attack him like he was a child molester. His statement at 5:11 is right on. Not many talking heads nationally have any support for private ownership of guns, but here is one who believes in the right and you folks destroy him because a few of his sentences and views are not lock step with your own. Well you that wrote these attack comments are way out of sync with most of the US. You better wake up to reason or you will be the ones destroying our gun rights. I am not a gun hater or a rights hater, I people, am a moderate well armed owner. I know you will all think that I should go straight to hell, and not pass go. Wake up, help those that support a citizens right to own guns even if they do not support your exact ideal. You my fellow gun owners are helping to lose our rights by your total inflexibility. Most people see you as gun nuts and do not listen at all to what you say. Some will listen to advocates like Mr. O’Reilly. If you have anything you would like to say in response, leave your reply comment over there if you want him to see it.
