Flaking Out Again

The goddamn turncoat is also sponsoring the Senate version of the "bump stock" ban, which I don't have a link for yet, but the House version is being offered by oozing Republican mangina Brian Fitzpatrick from Pennsylvania.

I believe the Swamp will risk the middterms by taking the fire out of constituent bellies and blame it on those who wanted to drain it, as if the hardline agenda is what's being rejected

There May Be Some Changes 'Round Here

A couple other outlets have approached me about writing for them. I'm looking into it to see if it can work out. If so, I'll be doing a less "tip" blogging and more article writing/promotion.

We'll see.

Now THAT's a Commitment to Anti-Gun Activism!

''He was against having guns in school. He was one of the teachers organizing students here to keep teachers from having guns." [Watch]
From the very end of the clip, starting @2:06...

Maybe another anti could go on a shooting spree to show how much blood we have on our hands and why his gun should be banned.

That'll teach us.

Raising Rifle-Buying Age to 21 Would Disarm American Heroes and Spit on Founding Intent

An interesting article over at Firearms News notes Audie Murphy would have been deemed “too young” to be trusted with a rifle at the time his legendary heroics earned him recognition as the most decorated combat soldier of WWII.  It goes on to imagine a gun store clerk telling not just him, but “our young combat heroes, veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan, who may have lost limbs and fought for our freedom, that they have no Second Amendment freedom because they are not 21 years old.” [More]
Could anything be more offensive and absurd?

NRA Board Ballot

I've been asked by multiple readers if there is a name or names I endorse for this year's election.

No, unless one of them answers my questionnaire, none can make a difference, as every one of them ignores the amnesty/pathway to citizenship danger. Otherwise, they're all just rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic.

Last year I endorsed StephenStamboulieh, but he's not on the ballot this year.

Why don't I solicit some responses? Not enough of me and not enough historic interest in such columns to push other priorities aside. This started out (and still is) for political candidates and I've made it clear over the years this is intended to be a tool for activists to use -- if they want to.

I recently did have a back-and-forth over this with one current political candidate, and he appears to have reconsidered going forward.

You find a candidate who wants to go on record and I'll link to his specifics -- or lack thereof.
