You Don't Want to Go There, Buddy

Just wow. [More]

Holder ‘gun safety’ plea belies true ‘common sense reforms’

In terms of another argument brought up in the Free Beacon piece, that such guns could also be tracked using GPS, it’s not unfair to note that when the Department of Justice was in a position to track guns it knew were being trafficked to violent criminals, it instead turned a blind eye and allowed thousands to “walk” to Mexico. [More]
Today’s Gun Rights Examiner report notes the bracelets this lying domestic enemy ought to be concerned about are the dumb kind, that don’t recognize their user and that operate with a key.

Appreciative Thanks

Thank you, Venator Foundation, for the wonderful dinner Saturday evening at the Hartford Convention Center.  My sons and I were at one of the two tables you generously donated to CCDL after the rally.  The boar was excellent, and the entire event was first-rate.  I'm only sorry I was not able to stay through the entire event, but after a day outdoors in cool weather, what with my recent challenges, I needed to get back to the hotel and under blankets...

A Different Outcome

Funny, how numbers change things. [More]

Not funny, how we know the name of the victim but not of his thug assailants.  That's gotta change.

Few Objections

“few in the Firearms Industry wanted to take a stand against this new notice of proposed rulemaking.” [More]

Yeah, no duh.  They're the ones counting on mental health blanket dragnets dragging some under the bus and leaving them alone.

So even though they have a much longer reach and wider influence, it was in their vested interests to leave the warnings to the small fry...

What Can Brown Do To You?

Nothing, if you don't let him. [More]

Tell the damn Republican establishment they either do what we tell them or they can all go to hell.

But that means a Democrat will win.

Yeah.  And you tell him to go to hell, too, and refuse to obey.

It's down to that.

Bureau of Liberty Management

I hadn't realized they were Constitutionally authorized to designate such "First Amendment-free" areas, and to kill people for "violating" their orders. [More]

What? They're not?

Then why are they evidently feeling so personally confident?

The Chicken or the Egg

The problem for the BATFE is that the receivers are apparently not made that way. [More]
Funny, how they make their problem everyone else's...and now that they've very publicly committed themselves, they have quite a bit of face with egg all over it to save.

We're the Only Ones Reclassifying Enough

Given the finding of homicide—and the corroborating evidence at the crime scene—the Chicago Police Department should have counted Groves’s death as a murder. And it did. Until December 18. On that day, the police report indicates, a lieutenant overseeing the Groves case reclassified the homicide investigation as a noncriminal death investigation. [More]

This Day in History: April 8

I have heretofore congratulated your Excellency on your Victories over our Enemy’s Generals, I can now do the same on your having overthrown their Politicians. Your late Success have so strengthened the hands of Opposition in Parliament, that they are become the majority, and have compelled the King to dismiss all his old Ministers and their adherents. The unclea[n] Spirits he was possessed with, are now cast out of him: but it is imagined that as soon as he has obtained a Peace, they will return with others worse than themselves, and the last State of that Man, as the Scripture says, shall be worse than the first.
