Being an alumnus myself, I know how to get around the campus. We also had political divisiveness in those days, as the words “Kent State” practically scream. That’s a bit of cognitive dissonance from “progressive” academia today that makes no sense to me: Unarmed students were shot by government troops, yet the students opposed to the Liberty Hangout activists were there to demand that everyone be disarmed under force of government arms. What could be a more egalitarian power-sharing arrangement than the right of the people to keep and bear arms? [More]Some young people understand what the majority of their generation has been swindled out of, and they're unafraid to pick up the torch and run with it. That's a necessary and a hopeful development to be encouraged. They are the future.

Kent State Open Carry Walk Shows 'Reasoned Discourse' with Gun-Grabbers Impossible
You Can't Stop the $ignal?
“As gun owners, and ardent defenders of the right to self-defense, we know that the gun industry is constantly under attack. We wanted to create a gun-centric crypto to act as a 'continuity of business' payment system for gun retailers. Due to their decentralized nature, blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies simply can’t be shut down by 'activist' banks.” [More]My experience with crypto is basically that if you replace the "c" with a "K" you have the name of Superboy's dog. That and if you're a connected New York regulator, you can make a killing designing labyrinths that you know how to navigate your way through.
I leave it to you with knowledge of such things to assess the merits. I've tried to learn, but my poor brain just isn't wired that way.
We're the Only Ones Unsigned Enough
Gwinnett officer being ‘counseled’ after taking signs from man’s home [More]" ...a Gwinnett County police officer... the officer... the officer... the officer... "
What's his name?
I'd want to put up signs.

We're the Only Ones Invasive Enough
Two Detroit police officers assigned to a burglary task force have been charged with home invasion and misconduct in office after they allegedly kicked in the door of a house on the city’s west side without a search warrant and arrested the homeowner. [More]And they lied to him about the taser...?

In for a Penny
Fitzgerald plead no contest. [More]I would not have attempted such a stunt were I not prepared to fight every inch of the way. No one should be surprised at the reaction, with the power of the state behind it. And being overtly self-destructive is never the answer.
A line from "Patton" comes to mind.
Oh, That White Male Privilege
And I want to grab the people saying this by the throat and haul them in front of him and say tell him. Tell him to his face that he deserved this because patriarchy. Tell him to his face that he probably was a wife beater anyway and it was just this time he got away with it. [More]I'd have stopped at "throat."
There's no reasoning with the enemy.

Emma's Dilemma
“I’m still worried, when I drive down the road and I’m not wearing a hat, that someone with gun stickers on their car is going to recognize me and run me off the road” [More]So what Emma's saying is licensing and registration won't be enough?

Commonsense Gun Safety Laws
"Give guns to good people," the former paratrooper insisted during campaign meetings. [More]I'd say just don't interfere when they buy their own.
This may warrant an article once I clear off some existing projects.

Twelve Good Men and True
Now, there are signs that juries are prepared to do their jobs, follow the law, and appropriately second-guess even officers who express fear for their lives or the lives of others. [More]That the jury pool for such cases generally comes from populaces that overwhelmingly vote for "progressives" does not fill me with hope.
Mr. Adams had an irrefutable point.

Go to the Wall
We’ll see what happens. It’s promising that the GOP is moving on this, but as always—watch out for the moderate wing to foul things up for us. [More]I'd call it the swamp wing. If there is a "blue wave," it will be because their self-serving betrayals, cowardice and utter lack of leadership discouraged the necessary following.
It is nice to see some finally figuring out that pulling your punches is no way to win a vicious fight.

An Unfixable Crime
[T]he Senate is "an unfixable crime against democracy" perpetuated by a group of racist, sexist Founding Fathers. He lectured his liberal viewers to get out and vote, "the vote for United States Senate that the Founding Fathers never wanted you to have." [More]They were right. The 17th Amendment was an unfixable crime against the Republic.

It All Looks Like Germany in the Thirties.
Violent thugs control the streets of Portland while the Portland Police stand by and do nothing. [More]That's because violent thugs control the streets of Portland.
It's going to get ugly everywhere "progressives" rule. And they have their eyes on everywhere, in Everytown.
May I Reproach the Bench?
Senior Cole County Circuit Judge Richard Callahan issued a permanent injunction Tuesday barring a requirement that voters lacking valid photo IDs sign a sworn statement and present another form of ID to cast regular ballots. [More]What else would you expect from a black-robed Democrat traitor?

Deadly bacteria warning goes out to visitors of Berlin sex club [More]Huh. I'd have assumed the place was so clean. I mean, since when has Berlin ever been associated with decadance?
