Doh! Canaduh

But the fact the buyback hasn’t even been set up 20 months after the ban was proclaimed and just four months before the deadline for surrendering guns shows just how unprepared and incompetent the Liberals are at putting their virtue signals into action. [More]

Any Canadian who surrenders his guns out of fear over what the government might do to him if caught with one needs to consider what totalitarian violence monopolies historically do when they catch people without one.

In effect, Nunes just handed Pelosi an extra vote. That is a betrayal of conservatives who want the Democrats’ agenda stopped. [More]

While National Review knows a thing or two about betraying conservatives, they do have a point here.

Schumer’s Filibuster Stunt - The Majority Leader will try again to blow up the Senate to blow up valid state election laws. [More]

I guess we'll find out how committed Manchin and Sinema are when they say they oppose that. My guess is, even if they do cave, "red state" attorneys general will be making Constitutional arguments on why this is a tyrannical overreach that stands federalism on its head.

The desperation at the prospect of a majority shift is apparent.

I'd like to see someone who knows how redub the scene from Casablanca where, instead of drowning out the Nazis singing Die Wacht am Rhein with La Marseillaise, Laszlo leads the patrons in Ode an die Freude.

Macron is a great admirer of Pétain and Vichy France.

  • ATF Posts Revised Quick Reference and Best Practices Guide for Federal Firearms Licensees
Reeves & Dola, LLP has great depth of knowledge and experience, and if I were an FFL I'd have them bookmarked. Here's their Alerts archive page going back to 2011.

In re the "Best Practices Guide," I confess that a requirement for FFLs to offer "lock up your safety" devices for retail sale was not on my radar and I don't recall seeing anything recent from NRA and GOA, so if they did send out their own member alerts I missed them.

Here is Merrick Garland's diktat and here is the rule. I note it was proposed years ago and only garnered four comments, which were dismissed. I expect some of you are up to speed on this, so any insights would be appreciated in "comments," below.
