Where Have We Seen This Before?

Keith Olbermann Calls for Tucker Carlson’s Arrest [More]

It's what "progressives" ultimately do when they have power.

I like when he realized he's gotten it totally wrong, instead of being a man and apologizing, he tried to hide. What a coward.

And That Goes Double for You

Someone asked me what Mike V would make of this.

We don't need to wonder.

It's been done before.

Think Globally, Act Locally

Right now and going forward, it’s the local level battles for gun rights that need to play the part. Town, city, county and state level battles and elections is how you take on a Biden/Harris administration’s inevitable gun grabbing attempt. [More]

That's always been important, but it will have no effect on federal mandates. When the antis demand "home rule," it's never about relaxing local restrictions, it's always about tightening them because they mean to rule your home. Plus, too many state-level groups -- like all of them -- are afraid to even mention the single greatest threat, let alone do anything about it.

I'm afraid we are entering an era where more gun owners are going to need to become committed to a new paradigm. By all means, your immediate AO is the one that can immediately hurt you, but the battle really is on all fronts, and that means we need to be mindful of all options and all chairs.

It Depends Upon What the Meaning of the Word 'Destroys' Is

Stop the Steal

I'm getting so many story tips on the election, I can't possibly keep up with them all via individual posts, so for today, I'm going to consolidate them all in one, and add to it as new ones I think are relevant and non-repetitive come in (and note some were already posted on previous days).

Take them all with a shaker of salt. There will be plenty of times when the realities of the various state processes aren't understood. It's no surprise the DSM is not only in the tank for Biden but also that most of the "reporters" posing as authoritative don't know what the hell they're talking about and/or deliberately withhold information and spread [m/d]isinformation.

Ditto, some from the "right-wing conspiracy" side. As much as I'd love to believe it, I can't prove this is all some grand Trump-engineered 3D chess trap with secret ballot "watermarks" and so far, I haven't seen anyone else prove it either, or explain how such supply access for Democrat-controlled states would have been accomplished in secret -- my guess is the other side is feeding them easily disprovable claims to discredit their "good" information, and they will try to make "conservatives" falling for it THE story. I may be wrong, but I don't think so.

My bottom line: I believe the Dems are trying to steal it and there is evidence of suddenly-materialized ballots, late submissions, observers being blocked, judges with agendas, manipulative media, etc., and that this is all going to end up in front of the Supreme Court, where we will see exactly what John Roberts will dare. And I cannot vouch for the accuracy and reliability of anything listed below, so caveat emptor:

This will be updated if I have the time and think the new additions offer significant additional insights. It took me over an hour to put this together and I need to focus now on other priorities.

Mugged Liberals

“And my husband was very much into his phone and he said, ‘Excuse me?’ He thought the guy wanted to sit or something ... My husband didn’t see any gun ... My husband was kind of rambling out of nervousness, saying, “This isn’t happening. Are you serious? You can’t do this to us.’..." [More]

I'll bet that made this oblivious Democrat gelding redouble his commitment to "commonsense gun safety laws"! Any bets on how long the marriage will last?

As a side note, when things go to hell, there will be plenty of cannibal food in the beginning, which can work to the benefit of the harder targets.

Speaking of Absurd...

It would be absurd to suppose Californians have malintent. [More]

Why, are they all too stupid to understand they're fouling a new nest and imposing coercive force to bend their new neighbors to their will?

I'm not big on "not evil, just wrong," which I consider a Groverian delusion. Some know exactly what they're doing. And regardless, anyone who wants to disarm me is my enemy, and I don't care what the reason is.

And I note one gamechanger that doesn't seem to be getting much play here...

You Can't Get There from Here

“The records of a person who attended a public school can be disclosed only with the consent of the student, if that student is 18 years of age or older,” Stewart wrote. “If that student is deceased, he is no longer available to grant consent.” [More]

I have mixed feelings about whether the law should be changed in general because of a very specific and rare event, partly because school attendance is compulsory, and also because unless the "curiosity" is the result of something the public really needs and deserves to know about, there will always be those ready to exploit and abuse.

I Know You Are, But What Am I?

“[Trump] has shown us that he is a misogynist, that he is homophobic, that he is racist and that he mismanaged a coronavirus pandemic to the tune of over 250,000 American deaths—yet 50% of America saw all of that and looked the other way.” [More]

Yep, he's an avatar. It's us they hate.
