Isn't That Special?

Kate Brown has called for a “special session” starting June 24th. [More]
And we don't mean "special" in a good way.

Crash and Burn

Wide use of no-knock warrants is incompatible with the U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights. [More]
I'd venture to say the same could often be said for the other kind, too.

RINOtopia

More troubling, Congressman Roger Marshall is the kind of Republican conservatives can’t trust.  Recently, he signed off on a letter to President Trump demanding more foreign laborers be allowed to enter the country in the midst of a massive unemployment emergency due to the COVID-19 outbreak. That kind of behavior is of the Chamber of Commerce establishment wing of the Republican Party.  Would it surprise you to learn Marshall backed John Kasich for President in 2016? [More]
He sure talks a good 2A game

Enough to get an "A"...

Perhaps he's the one who can finally address some concerns about what we do when the voting game is up...? That is if he hasn't followed his candidate's lead and turned coat by then...

All the News That's Fit to Suppress

What kind of racists would put troops on a border?

And how many American lives do you figure this is worth if things get spicier?

Heck, the refugee opportunities alone make this a "pathway to citizenship" Democrat's and "cheap labor" Republican's dream scenario...

Meanwhile, Across the Pond in Piers Morgan Paradise

Just as in the U.S.A., across the pond in Britain mobs and cyber-mobs are attacking and defacing statues, calling for their removal, and in general assaulting the history of the Sceptered Isle.[More]
"This blessed plot, this earth, this realm, this England..."

Would you?

You're NOT of the Body! LAWGIVERS!

Obviously, no one in America is being paraded through the streets against their will.  [More]
Yet.

They're working on it.

Be careful what you say and how you say it. Above all, avoid unwanted truths.

Or else.

The Keeper laid it all out for us years ago.

Are you of the Body?

An Implicit Theat

“The heavily armed individuals who flaunted themselves at the protest, calling themselves a ‘civil guard,’ were there for one reason: To menace protesters, to present an unsanctioned show of unregulated force. To menace the people of New Mexico with weaponry — with an implicit threat of violence — is on its face unacceptable; that violence did indeed occur is unspeakable.” [More]
So the official position of the Democrats is armed demonstrations and defensive actions by "Deplorables" is criminal menacing and worse, while armed Chazzercizers are patriots and nothing to worry our pretty little heads about?

Besides, let's review the bidding:
The shooting occurred during a fight between a man in a blue shirt and people trying to pull down the statue. The man was pushed onto the street, and then protesters started advancing toward him, some threatening him. The man in the blue shirt pulled a can of pepper spray from his pocket and sprayed it. At that point, the man in the blue shirt appeared to have pulled a gun and fired about five shots, wounding one person. The man who was shot appeared to have been one of the individuals advancing on the man in the blue shirt.
Sounds like self-defense to me. So look for the Michael Strickland treatment.

My biggest question: Why defend a statue of an indigenous peoples-massacring Spanish conquistador in the Age of Reconquista?

Talk about a perfect opportunity to sic the Aztlánistas on 'em -- and then make some popcorn.

'The sh** I did was crazy': Howard Stern addresses resurfaced blackface skit where he repeatedly used the N-word [More]
And then he lied about it. And now he's going on the offensive and making noise to deflect -- as if that isn't his whole shtick.

What is it about Biden supporters?

And why should Ralph Northam, Justin Trudeau, Howard Stern and Ted Danson be able to not only get away with it but be rewarded, when Megyn Kelly was almost destroyed for admitting she did not understand why it would be so offensive if someone were dressing up like a character.

Let's ask Eddie Murphy and the Wayans brothers...

Young Case against Hawaii Carry Ban Finally Moving Forward

“Mr. Young has now been on appeal in the Ninth Circuit since December 24, 2012 (six years, four months and twenty days) and there is still no end in sight,” a May 2019 friend of the court brief filed in the New York case reminded the Supreme Court. “Mr. Young will be seventy years old this year in September.” [More]
As Dr. King observed, “We must come to see with the distinguished jurist of yesterday that ‘justice too long delayed is justice denied.’” After yesterday's deliberate indifference to 10 other cases by the nation's highest court, I'd say that's the intent.
