Jury Reaches Verdict in Reese Case

I don't know what it is yet.  I'll announce it as soon as I know.

UPDATE: From KVIA.com:

Remington Reese was acquitted on all counts.
On count one, conspiracy, Remington, Ryin Reese, Rick Reese, and Terri Reese were all found not guilty.
On counts two-10, providing false statements, Ryan was found guilty on two counts, Rick was found guilty of one count, and Terri was found guilty on one count.
On counts 11-28, gun smuggling charges, all were found not guilty.
So what the hell did they just put these people through hell over the last year for? And they're not out of the woods--per KVIA's Facebook page:
Defense attorneys say they face a maximum of five years on each guilty count.
First, now that things have been reduced to the ridiculous, the family needs to be immediately let out on bail and given time to reunite and recuperate as best they can from the anguish they've been through so that they can begin to prepare for the next phase in their defense.  Then, I hope to see a vigorous and united appeal on the remaining charges, which would never have happened in the first place had they not been persecuted over, based on the evidence, nothing.

John Richardson is right--it will be a while before we can digest the entire report and its appendices--but in the mean time, people like him are finding interesting nuggets/dots to connect (wait 'til you see what Vanderboegh found, and no, I'm not going to give out a spoiler).

Lickspittle media not covering this stuff won't keep the truth from getting out. Welcome to the dawn of the age of the "unauthorized journalist"!

Reese Trial Goes to Jury after Judge Throws Out Major Charges

Luna County Tea Party Patriots continues with outstanding work as the go-to resource for reporting on the Reese family ordeal. From just today:
Throwing out money laundering and conspiracy is huge.  HUGE.

UPDATE: Just received this from the family spokesperson:
Good morning every one ! What an intense day in court yesterday ; Terri finished up on the stand the prosecution just kept slamming Terri with each question ;tryng to rattle her resolve ! Finally all over, then came the closing the defense team was up for their closing WOW Mr. Robert Gorence was up whar a job ! He told the jury he didn't know what Rick said that prompted the full fury of the US government to launch such an extensive search & destruction of the whole family and their entire life's work !? He also commented on the US's attempt to close down all the gun stores on the US border ! He also showed how strong-handed they treated the family, The US did their best to show the jury that our family was a bad family ! but there was no actual proof of that and our defense team, one by one, showed just that !! To express to you all that the government lied and deceived the family would be an under statement . and did you know that the agents & the departments would get bonuses for doing these things?! Now it is in the hands of the jury : it all ended with the prosecution's Mrs. Armijo just blowing her top and yelling !! she was on fire ( remember bonus's ? ) I was not happy with such conduct by a officer of the court ! Will let you all know the out come.

"Deemed Responsible." Now What?

“Now that the first report names five managers deemed responsible for allowing the operation to happen, it remains to be seen what Issa and company will do about it,” noted gun-rights activist David Codrea, who played a key role in exposing the scandal to begin with. Some potential criminal charges could include violations of the “International Traffic in Arms Regulations and the Kingpin Act,” he added, saying that “Issa himself indicated ‘prosecutions’ were a possibility.”[More]

This isn't about feeling neglected. Like I said, "to ignore representatives of new media, especially the ones who dragged this story to their doorstep, in favor of the old does not serve to support an informed citizenry, particularly noting how many outlets have either continually ignored the story or wrote it up with a spin designed to derail the investigation and advance an administration and “gun control”-promoting agenda."

Washington Post shows agenda in treatment of Fast and Furious report

For a paper that is arguably the most influential source for news in the nation’s capital, and in many cases a major influence throughout the country and the world, such deliberate indifference to reporting on a major development emerging from Congress, one with such significant implications, can hardly be attributed to anything other than an agenda to restrict a flow of news that does not serve its agenda, and to only promote stories that do. Savage Capitulation

Michael Savage is one among prominent conservatives who have come out favoring a ban on assault weapons, in light of the tragic mass shooting in the Colorado movie theater on July 20th. [More]
I rarely disagree with my friends at JPFO, but if we're to equate the term "conservative" with someone who promotes and adheres to founding era principles established in the Constitution, this obnoxious carnival barker hardly qualifies.

Not only is this not a new development for the guy, neither is channeling his inner Karger. Savage told his followers (and that's one anyone who unquestioningly believes this fraud must be):
Of course, I can already hear callers telling me, “Well, Mike, if we’re armed with these weapons, the government can’t possibly take our rights away.” That is nonsense. If the government wants to take your rights away or imprison you for whatever reason, your owning an assault rifle is not going to stop it.
